A good place for the young, I shared a room with my son and the air conditioning was either off on or on full blast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free shuttle bus into town and the airport.
Good place to chill Do your own thing and also great to socialise and meet new backpackers
Terrible hygiene standards: the kitchen is always dirty. The shower rooms are not clean. Bad smell inside the bedroom. No free wifi and the food option is too limited. No suitable for a family trip or if you care much about cleanness.
Service excellence, rooms comfy. Bar has amazing cheap food. And there's a resident cat!
We stayed in a private double for one night. This hostel was clean, comfortable and in a quiet area on the outskirts of the city. Although a 20 minute walk to the city there is a free courtesy bus to and from the city every hour. Breakfast was good and drinks prices good. There was some happy, party noise but this quietened at about midnight so not an issue. After all this is a hostel! Staff were friendly and helpful.
Service is pretty touch and go, depending on who they have. Can feel like you've walked into someone else's party sometimes with the long-term residents. Pretty basic, easygoing vibes. Drinks are limited but prices are ok.
A bit far from the city but they have shuttle almost every hour, so relaxing this place
Nice hostel with great bar and pool. Downside is it's far from town so you have to take a shuttle or walk 30 minutes
It's a nice place to be. I stay here for 5 months and I don’t regret. The Staff are really nice, like the people who stay here. I'd like to come back again.
After being here for a couple of days I can say I really enjoy being in the hostel.
The showers are the best I have had in the last two months while travelling up the East Coast. The atmosphere is really relaxed and you get free wifi in the bar area (you usually dont get free wifi at all) so thats another plus.
You also get free breakfast and the pool is great.
In a nutshell this probably is one of the better hostel I have stayed in.
Interesting experience for a lone 62-yr-old, being amongst all those young people. Had some good conversations.Never thought to bring my togs/bathers which was a pity.
People letting their doors bang shut loudly late at night annoyed me. It didn't take much effort to shut them quietly. Put off by the smell of the water in the showers and toilets.
Free toast and tea/coffee breakfasts and $3 light evening meals a big bonus.
Reception/information/travel booking desk staff were most helpful.
