Dr Vella's team were very skilful and saved our bunny, Pardon who was suffering from GI Stasis. Such a pleasure to deal with vets who deal with more than dogs and cats.
I can NOT get over how caring every single person at this Vet Clinic is.
From the moment you walk in, you are greeted warmly.
All vets and nurses were outstanding.
Dr David Vella, Dr Jo Sheen looked after our beloved Guinea Pig Donald and did everything they could for him.
I was on the phone discussing Donald's care plan with Dr Jo and the person next to me could hear the conversation. they thought Dr Jo was talking about a human because she was being SO compassionate.
It was Donald's time to go (sadly) - but I know everyone at North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre did everything they could do make Donnie better, and then to assist him when he wanted to let go.
I just received a "Sympathy" card in the mail from the Dr's and staff - it means the world to us and shows how much they care - It was hand written and they made specific comments about our Donnie, so I know it's not just a standard thing they send out - like Real Estate Christmas cards!!
I can not recommend this Vet highly enough.
My rabbit was suffering from reoccuring dental problems and Dr David Vella performed surgery on her twice. He was very thorough in explaining what was the cause of the problem and explained to me what procedures he would be doing in surgery. Both times, my bunny woke up fine and happy! The nurses made sure to call me as soon as she was out of surgery and when she woke up which was very reassuring!
Sorry the last review was for the wrong vet it was meant for another one
A couple of years ago I took my rabbit to this veterinary clinic as it was one of the few in Sydney who treats them. I had only heard good things about this surgery and went even though they were over priced. My rabbit ended up having a full hysterectomy but ended up getting an infection afterwards. when I rang the veterinary clinic about the problems my rabbit was having I was given the impression that I was being a nuisance and it was almost impossible to talk to a vet. My rabbit ended up passing away due to complications and died on the way to the surgery. I would consider going to this vet again only as a last resort or if my vet was closed as I feel they're very money orientated and not as caring as some vets I'v been to.
