This is a great asset provided for the people by the city of Cairns. Once a haunt of derelicts and thieves, it has been transformed into a tasteful and attractive venue, allowing for exceptional outdoor entertainment and performances. We enjoyed a memorable night concert here which attracted a truly positive vibe

Nice big venue. Lovely gardens. Shame the trees hadtobecut down. Toilets too hard to find and not enough of them for a crowd.

Great job done by the council sprucing up this area. Great paths and native flora, well maintained grounds and a great stage for live performances. Was good seeing anzac day commemorations being held here this year. The area has come along way.

You can see from the many photos that this is an excellent park. Most events held here are free. A place to enjoy by the sea. Open-stall markets on Sundays as advertised. Mornings and evenings you will need to be careful where you stand and sit. 🙃 look up ! Bats roost in the area. Bat splat is horrible. 😖 Open 24/7 .
