Highly underrated tourist attraction. You really need to see the amazing flowers and plants that grow up in the Far North.

Wonderful place. My granddaughter and I spent a couple of days fully exploring and taking the walking tours. Tour guides were very knowledgeable volunteers. We took hundreds of pictures, flowers, butterflies, birds and animals. Well worth the stop. The little cafe was great for lunch. If you like colorful tropica plants this is the place but its extensive so take your time and explore especially the orchids house .

Absolutely loved it!! Great place for walk around and check out butterflies!! Yoy can stop at visitor centre. Friendly staff will explain where to go. You can make a short walk as well.

Spectacular tropical botanic gardens, featuring a wide range of native and exotic plants, trees & orchids. The grounds are meticulously kept & there is always something new to discover!

Amazing place! We only got to see a third of the gardens due to time and I was blown away by how much was on offer. You really need a full day if you want to explore everything. A must visit if you enjoy rainforest habitats.

This is a must for tourists and locals. Short or long walks. Close to cafes and restaurants. Good for a picnic as well. Highly recommended.

Take time, enjoy, read all the interesting signs and go on the free guided tour (every morning at 10am) and PLEASE DONATE as this place is not funded by state or city and struggling to keep it running! It's absolutely beautiful and worth it!!!

Beautiful place to walk and have a coffee with two coffee shops in the gardens and more just a short walk down the street. Have to check out all of the events as well.

One of the best public botanic gardens I've been to! It has been kept so well and the layout of the garden is wonderful to walk through or run!
It looks a bit like Jurassic park from time to time.

We took a guided tour by Bill and accompanied by his sister Margaret. It was wonderful. My two teenager daughters learnt so much more in the tour otherwise we would have simply completed it in 10 min after only a quick look around. It was fun.

Beautiful gardens! I love walking around and chilling / reading here! If you don't know it well, in the south part near greenslopes there is a fruit tree section where you can eat fruit :)

This is one of my favorite places in the world. This botanical garden has so many tropical species of palm trees, and bamboo. Plus so much more. If you ever get to Cairns visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens.
