Exceeded expectations! Tons of brightly colored birds who hop right on your shoulder to eat out of your hand. It was a fun experience with very nice birds up close. Best part of Kuranda!

A beautifully presented open air aviary containing a wide variety of native and exotic birds. Prepare for an up close & personal experience as many of the feathered residents (including the Macaws) are hand tame and will drop down for a polite 'hello'! Visit at the right time and you will find birds courting, building nests, feeding young or helping chicks to fledge. A great experience for the whole family!

If you had food, the birds were very entertaining as they would harass you for it, sit on your hand, arm, shoulder, head. Large selection of birds, would have ben good to have only Australian native.
    $19 entry is too much.

Great fun. You can get up close and personal with the birds. Be warey if you wear shiny jewellery though - some of the birds may try and take it.

Many varieties of birds both Australian and from the rest of the world. A bit full on with birds flying very quickly everywhere, for my taste, but if it is what you are looking for this is your place!

Not huge, but very well kept aviary. Parrots are definitely not worried to get up close and interact. Make sure you have secured all jevelry and loose items before you enter!

Small but lovely walk-through place to see parrots, black swans, cassowary and more. Dont wear jewelry or shiny buttons.

A small place, but filled with many varieties of birds for you to see. Its worth the trip, as the birds are quite approachable as long you buy a pack of feed that set you back 3 dollars more.

It costs $18 for an adult, a lot of different bird species. Place it self is not big you can take a round in 5 mins .. prefect place for taking kids very educational..

This is an opportunity to interact with many beautiful and exotic birds. You can hand feed them or you can just watch. If you like birds it's an experience you are sure to enjoy.
