Tried a walk in here with a bunch of friends for their engagement (12 in total), on a Saturday night. Security let us in and we continued in to the lower bar.

The place was next to empty with approx 7 patrons seated. With 4 staff working we were refused service. The female hostess not providing an real rational for refusal and wasn't very tactful in approach.

Very disappointing experience, hope this wasn't due to a few friends being of a different minority.

The food, atmosphere, staff and owner are all incredible. Go for the 8 course banquet you will not regret it. It's very well priced, delicious and a perfect amount of food. Very modern yet extremely warm and comfortable.

Very good. Went got a with function. Food was great. The space was sparce but that's normal for a function centre.

Surroundings are stylish. No question.
Pragmatism by the mangeress is not in keeping with the welcoming nature of other nearby venues, withou offending any RSA obligations. Nor did she show a realistic assessment of enhancing the income of the owners from a benign group of happy senior citizens.
Poor engagement by staff and visibility of the limited offering of beverages was out of step with what this venue could have offered.
Don't disturb the dust on this relic!
