Great Place. Especially who want to have ancient flavor. Do be scared. Enjoy the place.

Yarragil Campsite: 2 campsites. Both campsites either side of day use area so expect lots of visitors coming and going. No trees to screen day use area from campsites. Don't expect secluded private camping. Campsites about 40 metres apart so noisy neighbours could be a problem. Campsite 1 has river views but site is small and has public access way right at the front of it so don't expect privacy. Campsite 2 is slightly more private and is larger but has no river views and is set in a hollow. Both campsites are very close to River Road so some traffic noise to be expected (though road is low traffic usage only) but can keep you awake at night. Pit toilet located close to site 1, about 20m to the rear of the site and partly obscured from the site by trees. If you have site 1 expect plenty of people to be wandering through the rear of the site to get to the toilet. Also cars stopping off.

Great camp sites and plenty to do, there's the water, bush walks, and most sites allow a camp fire to keep you warm in winter. Not too far from Perth, which makes it a nice little weekend getaway without too much hassle. Have been there a few times and will keep on going back.
