  Individual items are good, but there was no lemon included with the fish nor was I asked if I wanted one.
  Is it wron to say I expect a slice of lemon with a flake? lol
  
  Also missing couple of items I ordered. By the time I noticed I was too far to return.
  Two stars for the fact that what I got wasn't too bad, but got the order wrong.
  
  Makes me sad that some place make great food, just missing little extra care,
  Won't be going back :(

  Food was delicious and prepared quickly. Ate in - plates, cutlery on a wood board. Very fancy for fish and chips.

  Good place to go. Chips and potato cakes are nicely cooked, not to greasy. Good to eat on a cold winter day!

  I paid $32 for a steak Sanga, a large chips and the calamari... I specifically order my steak sandwich with no onions (I'm allergic). I left the place and found onions everywhere. 8 went back to the place and told them. The cook wasn't happy about me asking for a fresh one and told me that he would just scrape the onions off and also said "you're not dead yet".
  I asked him to re cook everything as the rest of the food would be cold by the time the new steak sandwich was ready. And he wouldn't do it until I asked a few times.
  He got the order right this time. But on the fresh chips there was a long hair that looked like it had been sitting in a dust pan with all the gunk that was all over it. Also paying $8.59 for a "large" chips, is a bit steep. But if you get heaps of chips, it would be worth it. It literally had half a minimum chips in there.
  Don't go to Kiwi Fish and Chips unless you want to leave disappointed and hungry.

  Best fish and chip shop I have ever been to hands down!!! A little more pricey than your average fish and chip shop but you are paying for quality and you will not be disappointed, open every day :)

  Love this place. I always ask for my chips to be extra cooked. Great service and the best fish and chips. My wife thinks it's the only reason we stay in east Melb. :-)

  Best tasting fish and chips despite not being next to the sea.. Fish is fresh and batter is light and flaky
