Pretty awesome pub. Quite large, and some decent beers as well. Great views of the ocean. Lovely beer garden as well.

The location is great. Just a short walk to the shops or the pier. The spa suite rooms are great too. Nice and clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast wasn't bad. Not the best, but not bad. The only downsides were that our room was above the kitchen so always smelt like food and the music from the bar on Saturday night was pretty loud. It stopped at 12. Overall a nice place to stay tho.

The appartments out back of the hotel are awesome! Value for money and super comfy. Location is great. The pub always has the best atmosphere and vibe. Always great on a sunny day. I think the food could improve but hat would be my only complaint, and not really an issue as location is so close to the Main Street. Always my go to place for a weekend away.

At a dinner here with a friend. We had a variety of dishes which all looked and tasted great. Service was quick and friendly and the environment was great. We sat next to a large group with kids and we're not bothered by them at all. Only complaint is the first beer I was given was quite flat, upon bringing this up they happily replaced it and it all worked out. Will go back.

Awesome meals, great friendly service and close to shops and 15 minutes to the most popular golf courses. Accomodation is top class too.

Good food. Nice atmosphere. Could have done with a few more veggie options on the menu

Restaurant quality but no table service. Drinks are purchased at a seperate bar. Meals were delicious with fresh ingredients. Great place to take a group but would be best to book.

We had a lovely time however some disappointing factors. Early check in and late check out were not recorded on file - despite confirmation email so had to wait a further hour. Also charged peak rate and not off peak rate as confirmed in email so had to adjust once it was pointed out. One Room key did not work so had to get reception to re-access. Also had one room above kitchen and had the same as the other reviewer, cooking smells and exhaust fans - too noisy. This room should not be booked or at least guests should be advised. The other room we booked however was fantastic. Access keys to Heritage rooms from outside to inside also did not work. Breakfast also disappointing - most bays needed refilling and food was not hot. Despite this, staff were very friendly to deal with.

My wife Erin and I stayed last weekend for our 10th wedding anniversary. Great place, like a resort in that it has the rooms, restaurant and a bar. Only thing I reckon that could be improved is the walk between the rooms and the entrance at the reception, kind of a bit 'back alley' feeling, maybe less views of bins and more vegetation, or something.
Staff great, young staff at bar a bit 'cool' though, probably just busy.
    Close to shops, views, Great.

Been wanting to stay at this hotel since i saw the film. I got so much more, from luxurious appointed rooms, delicious breakfast a service level well above the many city hotels i have stayed in for both business and pleasure. I will be back.

Disappointed, the hotel has great character and is centrally located to everything. Loved the exposed walks and the suite looked great but was on top of the kitchen the kitchen fans were going from 630 to 2230 and the room smelled from all the cooking odours. Couldn't rest or sleep well. As the guests we should have been warned about this or maybe this suite should not be booked or booked at a discount and a warning. When we asked to be moved we were told that the hotel was fully booked and they couldn't move us. Really disappointed.
