  After a disastrous experience with Bunnings products and their Dulux ceiling paint, a friendly staff member here was able to advise on an appropriate paint, tint and kit to fix the problem. She also calculated how much paint I would need, and was pretty much spot on. Saved my ceiling and my sanity! Thanks - will definitely be back.

  Good quality paint products I think. Most staff are helpful and knowledgeable, but one guy there is more or less useless. Once he oversold me on epoxy. I was told I needed 12L of mix for two coats on my standard dbl garage floor, which cost over $400. In reality I only used 6.5L, nearly half of what they sold, leaving me with over $200 of unused product.
  
  But worse, a 2nd time he said to use exterior paint for an interior job, when their own head office advised not to do this. Guy is incredibly rude and abrupt too, almost hostile to customers. Two negative experiences, so no longer coming here for my paint needs anymore. If you do, advise to talk to the store manager or call the head office, dont trust the other staff at all!

  I rang the Geelong West store and was given fantastic advice by Peter. I then purchased the product recommended - Black Stallion paint and could not be happier with the results on my fencing: a beautiful deep black, great coverage, very easy clean up and great value for money also. Customer service at this store is excellent, I was offered a loyalty card and thus got an unexpected and very appreciated 10% off! I then rang to order a 2nd 15 litre tin and was not even asked for payment first, and the tin came in super fast which was very convenient. Highly recommend this store and very pleased after my recent move to Geelong to know I need go nowhere else for all my painting needs!

  I was in the Geelong West Haymes paint store on Monday and I was very impressed with the two staff members that assisted me. They are the most professional paint people I have met. Nothing was too hard for them and they give great advice and handy tips and are great problem solvers for all different situations. With free good advice and really great prices on the best quality paint, I will definetly be coming back to this store every time I need paint and advice.

  I had a fantastic experience, even though I didn't end up buying, due to very specific need (not sold at this store). I noticed quite a few items hard to find elsewhere. I was also referred to another shop that had my product. Also great technical advice. (Other family member's account)
