Unfortunately not a great experience with these guys
Despite their quality reviews they missed the mark
Good
*slick website
*purchase process was seamless
Bad
*poor communications when order got complicated
*needed to followup; 2x email and 3x phone calls
*item one of two delivered without packing, just chucked in too bigger box and thrown in the post
*refund of item not received took one week to receive back
Piece of advice; don’t go silent on your customers after they’ve emailed/called you - call them back with an update every time. No customer wants to have to followup their order.
Package the goods, even if it’s just a lame piece of bubble wrap. At least it looks like you tried.
Refund money promptly (I had to follow up with three phone calls) - customers already unsatisfied with a transaction don’t want to wait a long time for the refund. (It took a week)
Perhaps my experience was just one out of the hat but resolving issues and communicating outcomes quickly will win customers over every timeresponse / report this review -

Great product and even better with their delivery. Wasn't expecting it to come this quick and the road case is far beyond what I could have ever expected. Will definitely use you guys again!!!!

Had a road case made custom for my '62 Vox Amp. Great Service, they made extra checks to make sure of the sizes of my vintage amp. Fantastic case - fit like a glove. Cheers guys

Some of the worst customer service we’ve ever experienced - do not use this business. Nick, Steve and the team at GigGear are arrogant, rude, and incompetent. We engaged GigGear to create a case for us in February, and were advised the lead time would be roughly 15 days. We received the finished case more than three months overdue in July, and with a number of manufacturing errors. The team consistently delivered milestones late, and purposefully ignored emails. Each message was left with weeks of silence, only when we called would we receive an update from GigGear.
The team appear to have no idea what they’re doing and lack an attention to detail which is crucial in this industry. Our case was manufactured incorrectly three times, and they had the audacity to blame errors on us. At one point, they attributed a three week delay to the terminology used in one of our emails. We said the design 'sounds correct’ and were not notified until weeks later that we must state the design was ‘correct’ - all throughout this period no work had taken place.
We’d highly recommend reconsidering using GigGear and save yourself time and energy, go with a reputable business insteadresponse / report this review -
