This is quite simply the best camera store in Sydney, if not Australia. There is a massive selection of lenses and cameras, as well as a video-only downstairs section which has a surprisingly large selection of the latest gadgets/drones/tripods/stabilizers. Staff is generally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

This shop is amazing, I'll never trust another place with my camera gear. Elliot and Adam are fantastic and Elliot worked a miracle for me this morning with a lens I thought couldn't be repaired and now it's as good as new, saving me from buying a $2500 lens in the process. These guys really care more about the customer experience as opposed to simply just selling to everyone who walks in the door. Highly recommended, simply could not love this place more.

Outstanding service! I ordered a Canon camera charger and battery on Tuesday that I needed on Wednesday when I was leaving the country. Georges staff made sure the order was processed and sent express post via Startrack and it arrived on Wednesday morning. Couldn't be happier with their service. I will shop here again

I’ve used George’s Cameras several times since taking up photography as a hobby. From buying my first Canon 70d and initial equipment/accessories to trading in and upgrading to the 5d mk III. On all occasions, staff have been both knowledgeable and helpful with advice on equipment and accessories whilst providing very competitive prices for genuine Australian stock. For me, another key point is they’re not pushy on making a sale, giving you plenty of time to think, shop around and come back on your own terms (others I found to be pushier to get the sale over the line). They’re also open to trading in your old gear, making the upgrade that little bit less painful in the pocket. If you’re after Cameras or accessories, would definitely recommend popping in for a chat.

Talked to my husband, not me about what I wanted. Not very helpful re my questions about what I needed and seemed unsure of other cameras in the category that might be suitable. Took my custom round the corner to another shop who were brilliant.

Walked in on the way to DigiDirect down the road. The guys here at Georges offered me a better deal without too much trouble. They had great product knowledge and answered all questions I threw at them. Staff are friendly. Prices are good. What more could you want?

I was recommended here by a friend and I can absolutely pass on that recommendation to anybody else. The service is just miles ahead of any competitors I visited. I was helped by Fletcher and his patience and knowledge was incredible - his service definitely lives up to and exceeds Georges' reputation.

Even though I was a complete beginner he explained everything to me in detail and guided me as I made my decision over multiple days. I am pleased that my purchase was tailored for me after all the discussion with him.
