Reaaaalllly difficult to find parking. They had 1 hour viewing sessions but didn't bother to mention it until we had purchased tickets.

First time here, to see the Archibald Prize Recently refurbished, another worthwhile Regional Gallery needing patronage. Will be back to explore further!

We came across on an escorted MPRG (Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery) visit this week to view the Archibald exhibition and was delighted to find that the Gallery had been given a major facelift! With 100+ year old flooring replaced - in order to cater for capacity crowds and a bright new interior paint job the Gallery looked so much larger than an earlier visit. A special thank you to all the staff and volunteers for making our visit so enjoyable. We look forward to a return visit next year!

Great regional gallery, with some outstanding colonial and Australian impressionist works. We saw the Fred Williams You Yangs exhibition which was wonderful (late 2017). The basement gallery could do with a more inspired display however, as could the sculpture gallery.

A perfect visual art experience - a great mix of artists/exhibitions and not overwhelming so you manage to take it all in. A regular spot for me!

There are some collections in the gallery that mesmerised me. They are so beautiful. The gallery has beautiful collections from 18 to 20th century. Paintings, decorative arts, Australian contemporary paintings and sculptures are highlights in the gallery. If you want better understand more about the arts and the gallery, it is good to take a guided tours which is free.

One of the best collections in Victoria. Where to start.. The bush burial, Sam Leach's peacock rising, the colonial paintings are stunning! Not to mention the classical sculptures and the new contemporary objects gallery. Can't wait for the Archibald to come to Geelong in 2017
