Meals good food delivery bit slow bit Norse
Brilliant food and huge servings, and perfect place to let the kids burn off the energy in the indoor playground space
I celebrated my 73 birthday at the Fyansford with all my family of 16 the meals were absolutely excellent well done to all
Good food and the beer is nice and cold. Great views onto the park.
Good menu choices. Seniors menu was limited in choices but good value. Lunch menu good value and good choices. Main menu excellent.
Good food and venue. A little bit out of the way but worth the visit. Children's play area on site. Pokies available.
Delicious food and great service. Limited selection of beers and wines but very well priced.
Kids playground means the kids have somewhere to play while you're waiting for your food to arrive
Very old and homely hotel on the outer edge of Geelong. Great meals and service. Very much a family venue.
A cosy place on a very cold day. The fire was good as was the refreshing ale. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly and efficient staff.
I will never go back. Horrid food, very loud, atmosphere not good.
Great food, good service
Last Sunday I arrived at the 'Fyansford Hotel' with 29 members of our Dookie Lions Club for lunch. We had previously booked the venue and asked for a private room to be available. Upon arrival we were shown to the private room and soon set about to order drinks and meals. It is with pleasure that I write and say how pleased our entire group were with their dining experience. The meals were very quickly delivered, were exceptionally tasty, and very generous portion sizes. The waiting and bar staff were all very pleasant and all in all we were very pleased that we chose the 'Fyansford Hotel' for our Sunday lunch meal.
If you like paying top restaurant prices but with no table service then this might be the place for you. Food is okay. Alcohol again is top price. Hard to work out who is the staff when your greeted by a bloke wearing a local football team top, no staff top. Then there was the bucks night allowed in just after 6pm while kids are everywhere. The let them in the bistro bar although they weren't eating. some without tops on and in costumes intoxicated. Thankfully one of them had to go home earlier as by his words "was on bail". The fyansford needs to work out if its a scummy pub and price accordingly or a restaurant and provide the service for the price.
Good cheerful service. Meals very sizeable and nutritious. Good range. But noisy in main bistro but quieter in lounge. Not sure why tvs are on in meals area though. Doesn't improve atmosphere at all.
