Disappointed, I have waited 18 months for a return visit. So disappointed, the service was terrible, not offered a wine list, had to ask for water, still waiting for the requested second glass. The table next to us was treated totally differently, in fact the tables both sides. My entree had been under the grill and no mention of the hot plate. My main course was dry and totally unappetising. We left rather than make a scene. There were so many examples of poor service.

Service was exceptional from the moment I walked in .
My Beef Wellington was to die for , served with first class
local produce, prepared to perfection .Excellent wine list !

Best Steak House in Australia.

Dyers is an iconic Ballarat Restaurant which serves food utilising local produce. The food was excellent which was accompanied by some lovely wine; all by recommendation from the owner Campbell Dyer whose knowledge of wines is second to none! I am definitely a 'regular' now! I loved it!

Underwhelming and over priced for what you get. I feel a bit ripped off. My favorite part of the meal was the beans- cooked to perfection. Steak was fairly chewy but soft in a few parts & at least had a good flavor. Honestly though, the piddly half a tiny roast potato!? Surely you could have put on two pieces for the price we paid. Been there once but won't be back.

Dyers the best place for steak in Ballarat! Once again a great night, personal service despite a packed restaurant, food cooked to perfection and a great selection of fine wine. Place of choice for a fine dining experience in Ballarat.

Nothing has changed over the years. The Food and Service is great. Nothing is a problem. The best steak we have had for a number of years. Thanks Campbell & Joy. We will be back soon.

Every time we go it is such a fun night.
Campell is the Perfect host.
You know what you are going to eat, however, always lovely fresh simple food, steak cooked just the
way you ask for it.
It is good for B.rat, such a well know Restaraunt in B.rat and beyond.

Worst place I've been for an over priced meal. Dark and no air con. Rudest manager. Take a torch to view your meal. Scott the chef cooked the steak nice :) but serving with half a tomato and half a potato along with 3 snow peas and some watered mushroom sauce and charging $35 is a joke. Maccas were very happy to have us afterwards as due to the reviews the manager needed a tissue and asked us to leave. Perhaps instead of kicking ppl out and destroying your business even more, ask them why your establishment sucked so much. Air con and service A+ to maccas.
