  Would just like to say that I've worked for them for them past 7years and you don't realise just how much time and effort they go to to help there customers some times taking days to find things but when they do the feel proud that they didn't just give up and it can be seen when the customer comes in to pick there parts up they really are a great shop and a great team of blokes

  I went to Fetter to find a rather hard to get part recently. The staff member there was very patient in finding out exactly what I needed, and searched their stock extensively, even ringing another wreckers for me to see if they could supply the part. Unfortunately the part wasn't in stock however i really did appreciate their effort and they seemed to genuinely care about doing their best to supply me with the part even though it wouldn't have been for a great deal of money.

  I have been going to Fetter wreckers for years when in need of a part in a hurry but it had been some time since I had last been there. It was comforting to see that little had changed. I have been insulted many times over the years by a variety of people and I generally don't take it to heart but being insulted by stupid people is different. Being insulted and being ripped off is a rare combination that I try to avoid but like I said , when in a hurry. They had the courtesy to let me take the part outside to compare it to the car I had and it was then that I noticed the part they had offered to sell me was broken. A plastic tag was missing from the back of the light assembly which they wanted $45 for. I took the light back inside and the old fella said " it doesn't matter mate, it'll fit perfectly without it" and in the same breath " we can get another one on Monday".
  
  At this point my instinct that tells me if someone is prepared to waste your time once they'll be more than happy to do it again without apology takes over and I leave.
  
  Word of advice, I know this much when it comes to car parts. Just because something is or seems necessary is no guarantee it will be there but car manufacturers are in the habit of making things as cheaply as they can so if there are two plastic tags on the back of the light it will be the bare minimum they need to hold it in.
  
  I just wasted 5 mins writing this review but it will help me to remember to never go back and visit the unhelpful, time-wasting not very clever or polite people at Fetter Wreckers, they wasted and hour of my time and tried to rip me $45 for a broken second hand light when there are new ones with free postage for $38 on ebay
