I definitely recommend you avoid this place. I want to first say that I love the doctor that I see here and that is the only reason why I came to this clinic (I was a previous patient at another clinic) and today I got a call saying she was leaving this clinic (best news ever!) so now I can write my review. The reception staff are rude useless. I needed a prescription over Christmas as it was for medication from a compounding pharmacy that was shutting down over Christmas and I didn’t have a repeat on file so I rang the clinic to get my doctor to fax a script over however was told I would need to make an appointment which is ridiculous I just needed a script faxed over (I have been on this medication for over 5 years). The receptionist said “I will need to speak with the doctor but she is very busy so I don’t know when that will be”. The next day I finally got my prescription then a few days later I rang to see if they could quickly fit me in for a B12 injection before Christmas and was told they would get back to me - never heard back from them and they don’t respond to emails.
Wouldn’t recommend going there based on my visit (I can only comment on my personal experience and am not able to infer anything about other staff, who might be better)
I had my consultation with a rather unprofessional podiatrist who was not very friendly and could not convince me that she knew much about human anatomy (RW are her initials). The podiatrist charged $130 for an underwhelming consultation that did not result in either a thorough assessment or any recommendations other than to buy orthotics that I would then need to pay an additional $500 for. The person at the reception, when I asked about the reason for such a high fee for a consultation, just said that this is the “standard fee” without explaining why this clinic is overcharging so much.
I am not easily outraged, but that experience at the clinic was simply substandard!
PS. I found a great podiatrist who is incredibly helpful - let me know if you need a recommendation and I will share his details with you.
I would not recommend going here for a sports massage. I told the massage therapist to focus on my hips and IT band. Halfway through the massage, I noticed she hadn't got to my IT bands and when I asked her about it, she said she didn't know what an IT Band was. That is a term every physio should know.
Great office and location, very professional staff. Have been multiple times for physio with Maria, who is great- attentive, professional, and honest. Highly recommend.
Great staff, great atmosphere. Always treated with a smile, there's a tea and coffee station for customers waiting. Highly recommended.
I can't recommend this place more. Kate helped me get my knee back on track after an injury really quickly, and was so helpful in explaining what was happening, how I injured myself and how to prevent it happening again. The massage was the most intense and deep massage I've ever had but I absolutely loved it and it worked incredibly well. I highly recommend Elevate physio.
I've been seeing Matt McCutcheon and his physio team for months now after having knee surgery. I went to my local physio originally, who used to tell me some stretches and then "hop on the bike".
When I went to Matt he took a genuine interest in my specific injury and the way my body was interacting with it. As a result we found that all sorts of things around my knee was preventing my knee from healing properly. We've since worked our way through it and I'm back to playing sport much quicker than I thought I would be.
Can't recommend the team enough. They've restored my faith in physios.
I am a fitness professional of 18 years that runs a team of 15 personal trainers in the Sydney CBD.
I couldn't recommend the Physio team and
Co at Elevate highly enough.
These guys are great at what they do, so much so that they are our preferred allied health care service for our 300+ clients.
We always get great feedback and results from the clients we refer to Matt McCutcheon and his team.
Matt was extremely helpful. I accidentally twisted my knee when removing a heavy piece of luggage at a wrong angle off of a luggage turnstile at the airport. Despite this injury being extremely embarrassing and somewhat unique, Matt made me feel completely comfortable by listening and understanding where the pain was coming from. He then performed a series of tests to understand the root of the injury. Once it was clear what the issue was, Matt showed me a number of exercises I could do at home (which have been helping significantly and almost completely solved the problem after a short time). Matt also prescribed me a cream to use on my knee which has helped in the process. I will definitely go back to elevate as necessary in the future. It was such a relief to find someone that could help and make my injury seem much less scary and instead very approachable to fix.
First time I went here, I'd been to three other physios and couldn't get my calf right to run. A friend recommended a physio here, Matt McCutcheon. Over a few of weeks he sorted it out. The second time I had hamstring injury just before a big run event and he fixed it up - I was back running in three weeks. I did the run. No issues since. Can't recommend them enough. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Have attended Elevate many times for a number of different injuries and Matt has always looked after me. Great service, everything is explained well in terms that are easy to understand with clear goals and progressions set out. Very realistic about recovery and makes you feel comfortable in a professional yet non intimidating environment. Highly recommend.
The physiotherapists who have been treating me (Matt and Michael) have been extremely professional and caring. The physios are not quick to dismiss my concerns, and ensure that I leave the facility each session with reassurance regarding the healing potential of my injury. Not only do they treat, but they also help me understand (in layman's terms) what exactly is/was wrong with my body.
The reception staff are always friendly and greet me by my first name as soon as I step inside.
