Best Ob/gyn in Melbourne. I felt safe and looked after. My pregnancy was not smooth but I felt very secure. Dr Steve had my best interest and he made sure I was aware of what was going on. He educated me in all aspects of my pregnancy. I would do it all over again because I trust my life with Dr Steve.

I recently had my second child with Steve as my obsterician, and delivery via a planned c-section. I had the best possible delivery and a quick recovery despite my complicated history. Steve is an amazing ob/gyn, he always took the time to answer questions I had in great detail, his knowledge is incredible and he has a very calm demeanour about him that certainly helps during pregnancy.

"wow, your obstetrician should have been a cosmetic surgeon" quote from my maternal health nurse who has seen many C-section stitches over her 20+ years in the industry. Truth be told, six weeks later you can barely see it, I barely felt it after a few days and I have complete confidence that it was done with absolute precision. I chose Steve Hatzikostas as my OB for my first pregnancy as many of my friends had highly recommended him. I went back to Steve last year again when I fell pregnant again with my twins, as I knew first hand, what a brilliant OB he is. Why?! Above everything else, he's exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, responsive, approachable and thorough. The baby making factory is closed for me, but I will continue to recommend Steve to anyone who has a future need for a great OB.
