Bought a lens and some accessories here. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Franchise camera stores in the malls can't compare to what these guys have to offer. Sure, the prices can't match what you can get online/eBay but you'll have great customer service. These guys have great depth on photography knowledge and you'll walk out of the store confident about your purchase.

My go to camera store in Melbourne.
Staff know their gear and are able to walk you though the decision process. That said if you are still tyre kicking *don’t* come on the weekend as they get super busy.
When there is a crowd be sure to grab a number as you enter otherwise you will wonder why you aren’t being served.
Best pricing in Melbourne and if they don’t have it in stock they are able to deliver normally the next day.response / report this review -

Expert 1 on 1 tutorial for 1.5hrs - Dean was a sensational teacher - guiding me through my new Lumix DMC-GX8 camera and basic photography principles at a pace that worked for me - and was able to explain things multiple ways to make sure I really understood. I can't wait to go out into the world and practise practise practise - for the first time I feel like I am in control of my equipment - no more intelligent auto for me !!!

Find the staff try to push extra equipment on you, regardless of your needs. Never acknowledge you when you first walk into the store. Prices are good but the service isn't.

Recently joined a group for the DCW Great Ocean Road field trip and had a great time. Justin and Dean, from Northcote store, were very happy to help me when setting up for our long exposures of the Apostles.
The one suggestion I can make is perhaps have a more comfortable bus with space for our gear and store products.

Blown away with the customer service.
Ryan helped me out of the way to demo the product, never seen anywhere in the Melbourne camera store.
These people are well versed with the camera knowledge and will definitely gonna recommend my friends to visit them.
