Stayed at the hotel for a second time. Again awesome hotel but the breakfast was terrible. So terrible we ate out even though it was included in our package ! If you stay don't include breakfast, many options within 2 minutes walk.

This resort truly deserves a 5 star rating. The staff were all exceptionally nice and would always go out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Prime example was a lovely waiter of his own accord bringing us extra paper straws to entertain our infant. The food at paper crane was top notch and the location is gorgeous.

Giving this hotel and Flynn Crystalbrook a five star rating because they 100% deserve it!
Myself and my wife were on our honeymoon when we stayed at both Riley a Crystalbrook resort and Flynn. We received an upgraded room at both hotels.
The reception staff were ridiculously friendly and helpful.
The rooms were amazing. Well maintained. Very smart rooms with smart lights, tv etc. The bathrooms were exceptionally designed and maintained. Clean +++. The shower was to DIE FOR.
Really well located. Flynn in right on Cairns esplanade close to restaurants and the lagoon pool. Riley is a short walk away, but close to the night markets. Great locations.
Overall, an amazing experience for not just our honeymoon, but just in general.

Loved staying here when we visited cairns for the first time. Such a beautiful hotel with well appointed rooms with luxurious bathrooms. The pool was beautiful but not heated unfortunately so freezing cold. Food from paper crane was good but Rocco was disappointing apart from the view. Would stay here again. Love a new contemporary hotel

This is the most beautiful hotel in Cairns! I highly recommend getting the panoramic sea view room as its in the tower. You wake up to the most beautiful sunrise and mountain views. The highlight is the incredible pool and spa - recommend trying it out at night as well! The staff was very nice and helpful, the in room amenities provided were impressive and the two restaurants on ground (paper crane and rocco) have some delicious food. Best place to relax while on holiday!

Nice hotel, clean and good location. But beware the panoramic view rooms aren’t all good views. We are literally looking at mostly other hotels. Not even a view of the pool and little ocean. There is no bath and the layout is totally different than online. I get rooms have different configurations but why not have a different options when booking. I didn’t pay a premium price to look at other people’s rooms. I would have paid the extra to know what I was getting well I thought I did that and got a worse view than a resort room looking over the pool. Super disappointed especially because I only booked this hotel for the panoramic sea view room.
Our stay didn’t get better from here. We had all sorts of smaller issues.
Just editing to add. After a lot of emails to chase up the hotel has taken my feedback on in regards to the booking system and making people aware the views may be different and rooms configured differently. They did issue me a full refund of my stay. Which is appreciated but it wasn’t about the money is was the experience we really wanted to enjoy this room and stay.response / report this review -

What a beautiful hotel in Cairns! We got a sea view room, and I highly recommend doing that. You get a gorgeous sunrise! In looking around Cairns, I know we chose the right place. It’s pretty close to tourist attractions, the pool is incredible. The bed was super comfy, the bedsheets divine. The included breakfast also really tasty (try the honey straight from the honeycomb! Only recommendation to the staff is to man the pool more - remove towels that are just sitting there, because it’s pretty hard to tell as a guest which lounge chairs are actually taken or have been abandoned. Both days we had to walk around for 20 minutes trying to find a spot. Overall though, simply fantastic place!

Just returned from a 3 night stay in a Suite. Could not fault a single thing about this amazing resort. Breakfast was perfect, service throughout the hotel was impeccable, pool was AMAZING as was the poolside serviceso easy! Loved the modern understated elegance of the decor throughout and the use of the Riley App which made everything so easy was an added bonus. Our room was spotlessly clean and the amenities in the suite were second to none. Location was also perfectonly a short stroll from amazing restaurants. We have travelled extensively around the world, and our stay at Riley was honestly up there as one of the best hotel stays we've experienced. Wish we we could've stayed longer! Definitely a 5 star resort that is our new "go-to" within Australia. We absolutely cannot wait to return!

Booked for 5 nights and the staff made us feel very happy and comfortable especially Vesna! She really made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel so special!! Wish I got to say thank you to her personally when we checked out. Also very friendly general manager helping us out with places to eat around Cairns! Our rooms were always cleaned by 11am after we came back from the pool! Did not have a single complaint at all 😊

This is how a hotel should be run! We absolutely enjoyed every aspect of our stay. From the moment we checked in, to the simplistic check out, we recieved personable and attentive service. Staff provided genuine local recommendations and couldn't help us enough. The rooms were modern and well maintained. Would highly recommend the sea view splurge to wake up to the coral sea!
