Great stop over for work with a large desk and stable WiFi. Was completely refurbished from the previous visit. Takeaway places in the area for dinner.

The rooms were well set out and comfortable. Linen was great. The only negative was that the smoking tables are directly outside the toilet and with the top vent area in the window for steam, it allows the smoke into the bathroom and permeates throughout the unit. I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke, so this unfortunately set off my hay fever.
Other than that, great place to stay and nice clean pool with awesome pool toys.response / report this review -

This motel is so exceptionally clean. The rooms have been recently renovated and very welcoming. Management were so friendly and nothing seemed like a hassle for them. We will only be staying here while visiting Mackay from now on!

We loved our stay here last week. Modern and perfectly clean. Owners friendly and helpful. Handy location yet we didn't get any highway noise. When I go back to Mackay, this will be my first choice of accommodation.
