We love staying at Crown Metropol Melbourne. We chose a package that included valet parking, a bottle of sparkling wine, buffet breakfast and 12:00 checkout. The package made the whole stay like a mini holiday. The staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here if your in Melbourne.

The most amazing experience of my life thus far. The room was stunning and the staff were friendly and supportive, being patient with me as this was my first time staying somewhere without a Guardian. It was easy to get to and easy to get home as the station was only a few blocks away and the shops, casino/arcade, restaurants and riverwalk provided grey entertainment.

This is possibly the best hotel experience I have ever had in Melbourne. Great from check in - thank you to Jeremy for sorting out my dis-organisation - to check out. Friendly staff great room and in a great location if your like Southbank eateries etc. but still within easy access to greater Melbourne.

I have stayed here half a dozen times. And have always had a great experience.
Location wise is good if you are planning on. Spending your time on south bank.
The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Staff are always pleasent and parking is convenient.

Recently, I have stayed in this hotel for a week! l had very horrible experience about service I had! The hotel charged me when I checked in and checked out ! Charged me 2 times and different prices! Contacted hotel, switch board transferred me to finance department and reception, no one answered my phone ! No one tried to help! I really upset about it! I still have to try to solve this problem! And 4.5 hotel this kind of service is not good enough at all! I told my friends and my family, they were so shocked and suggested me to rise to this issue to Department of Fair Trading!

The crown metropol is an awesome venue. The reception is spacious and the staff are extremely attentive and efficient. The room was set at the correct temperature and was very clean and tidy. A spacious room with great views. There is a large shower and great water pressure. The facilities offered through the complex are excellent.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was amazing however staff were not friendly and come off as condescending. Being locked out of your room at 8am instead of having the 10am guaranteed checkout is very frustrating and inconvenient. And this was the only time I had been told to pay upfront, when I was not staying with older guests. And all I get in return for this treatment is free parking and breakfast next time? What makes you think I want to stay again. I've stayed at much cheaper places and their customer service excelled compared to my stay at crown. What a way to spend your birthday!

Great selection of restaurants. Also great food court if you don't want to spend the money. There are some really nice high end shops. You could waste a rainy day in here without even considering the casino section and all that has to offer.

Crown Metropol was a great place to stay. The rooms looked very nice and were clean on arrival. Pillows were slightly uncomfortable but was fine for an overnight stay. The pool and gym facilities were world class. Views from the pool were amazing and all equipment was clean and there was many of it. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed on one of the rooms on the 18th floor. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable. I had a full king sized bed which was made up beautifully. I also had a nice view of the city.

My husband and I stayed here for out first wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay.
Check in was pleasant, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the lady at the desk even organised a bottle of sparkling wine to assist in our celebration.

Stayed for a girls night out. Great service and help on the phone. Isika Spa was great. Pool was awesome, great view. Loved the spa and steam room in women's change room.

My partner and I stayed at Crown Metropol this weekend. Our room was meant to be ready by 2pm however we were made to wait until 2:55pm until we could access the room. When we enquired at reception to see how much longer it would be, I explained that I needed to get ready for an appointment and the man told us to go to level 27 to get changed in the bathroom. Once we reached level 27, I got the text message to go back to reception to get my key card. Back down to reception and then back up to the room, was finally in the room at 2:55pm and I missed my appointment.
The bench where the ice bucket is hadn't been cleaned and a woman's fake eyelash was sitting there stuck to the bench with some make up as well. The coffee table was also dirty and hadn't been cleaned. For the money we spent and the service we were expecting, it shocked us both. We made reception aware of this and didn't even get an apology! Very disappointed. There are a handful of motels in Melbourne that offer much better service and cleaner rooms for half the price.response / report this review -

Great rooms with amazing service. The staff do a lot to keep the guests happy. Rooms are gracious in size and amenities. Very enjoyable experience
