Arrived into Airlie and checked into our hotel. Saw Capers' special of 3 beers and sliders. Looked great, but that's where it stopped! When ordering we were asked what beer's we would like on ordering (as there was a choice of 6) and we said surprise us! The lovely waitress handed over the beer choosing to the young male bartender who seemed to take on a not too impressed attitude. I asked to try one beer in particular and when served our food and beers the young bartender put it down and said "that's the beer you were on about" pointing with his finger at it. Nothing like that being your first impression of Airlie Beach!The beef and pork sliders were quite dry and felt like it was left over from the day before. Maybe a creamier slaw would be better with these sliders! Overall very average. Didn't eat there again.

The food is always great and the staff are fantastic, especially if you get "Foxie" taking care of you.

Paid just shy off $100 for two basic meals and two drinks, terrible service and below average food.

Waitied 10minutes to be seated despite waiters walking right past us at front kiosk twice. Was also quiet.

Ordered meals, waited 45 minutes for just mains, steak was cold and dry, pizza bland and dry.

Drinks were highlight of meal, strawberry sunset was great.

Great food and nice beer menu on tap. The burgers were very nice and high quality. Definitely recommend the vegetarian burger! Staff was also very friendly. Free internet.

Great food and atmosphere. Me and the wife and our 4 month old daughter went here for dinner and we sat outside on the couches. Very chilled atmosphere and plenty of room to park the pram. My wife got the chicken salad and i got the bucket of prawns (10 prawns) with chips and salad. Both meals were great but I could have done with some more prawns (couldn't we all). They also had a Shiraz on tap which hit the spot nicely.
