The Free WIFI is a LIE! you get 250mb free enough to scroll once down a facebook page. then you pay pay pay! and our room was not ready for 2 hours after check in time! and they only give you one cabin key so if one parent needs to stay with kids and the other has to run to the store to get baby supplies the people staying behind have to sit in a hot cabbin! because the person going out needs the keys to operate the main gate!
The Aqua play zone / Nemo waterpark thing is so run down! Rusted and the matts are all torn and some of it did not even work! (and you have to buy WIFI becasue the park is in a mobile phone dead spot!)response / report this review -

Absolutely spectacular gardens, awesome pool, Beautiful Owners, cheap rates, great comfortable rooms. We will Definitely come back here again. Thankyou so much for your hospitality, nothing is too much trouble, even when you miss 2 planes to get here. A+

The beds were hard as rocks with the wire springs on the sleeping surface of the mattress. We complained and they kindly put mattress protectors on to help soften them. The pool area and gardens were beautiful but the main part of sleeping comfort was just not there.

It was a nice resort and had good facilities although the bed was as hard as a rock. We had been sleeping on a thin mattress for two weeks in a roof top tent and by the end of my stay here I was looking more forward to sleeping in the roof top again than on that bed. Our friends that we also had staying in the same resort where charged for a rip in the curtain that was previously there when we checked in. The place smelt of smoke and there where chalk drawings all over the footpath.

Nice resort. But the only way in to town is a 30min bus that normally comes once an hour. We booked because of the "7minutes from Cairns City Centre" description. All in all, friendly staff, nice bedroom with our own cooking facilities and lucky we had them because the bar/ kitchen was only opened for a few hours a day and out of the 10 days we were there, it was open 4 days the gardeners didn't care about the pool and didn't hesitate to blow leaves into it. Finally - $40 for a week of poor wifi is a rip off! Our next location was closer to Cairns city center and the weekly wifi was $12 and also much faster. I wouldn't return due to the above inconveniences (location, bar/ restaurant facilities, poor pool management and wifi)
