Also got served by a rude staff. Would not recommend asking for help from the person near the entrance behind the counter. She's incredibly unhelpful and condescending when I asked some questions about their services. You'd think the person behind the information counter would actually be nice and helpful, but not at all.
Soured my cheery morning mood.
It was my first time in this Bunnings as well. They really need to improve their service. Selections of goods seems decent but I couldn't find an item and it seems I've arrived at a horrible time as all of them were having a meeting of some sorts in the cafe furniture section.
Ended up coming out empty handed, what a waste of time.response / report this review -

I had a piece of wood cut in half the girl charged me for two. She didn't look at the label she just scanned it twice,I questioned her about it and I didn't"t get an answer.

Served by an incredibly rude woman (Bell) at the service desk.
Greeted with a "Yep?"
She then proceeded to answer a phone call while scanning my items and simple handed over the receipt without taking her eyes off the computer screen or even saying a word.
I shop here at least 3 times a week and won't be returning.. i rarely leave comments, but this really frustrated me.response / report this review -

September 2017 update: Store was recently renovated. Garden section has been extended. Cafe updated with a view into the garden, new kids play area and demonstration workshop. Store has been cleaned up and re-stocked.

These place has gone down hill in the last 5 years. It seems Bunnings only hire degenerates with tattoos these days! I would suggest 'Totals Tools,' across the road that can dress properly!

Dumbing. Friendly staff , but clueless. Wouldn't help me find what i wanted. " it should be over there behind the ladder" She went back to chit chatting to the other staff member. I had to move ladder. Couldn't find item. No assistance.

Pretty good store, dedicated staff. I've done well going there. You keep your receopts on big items, but almost never need them. When I have, customer service was great. The problems brnben ran into sound unusual.
