Not happy, got sold a lemon. Was told it was not an X mining vehicle but ends up it was. Lesson learned, always get a mechanical inspection done. Have had to spend lots of $ to get this vehicle up to scratch. Stay clear.
Stay away. They buy cheap faulty cars and sell them as if they are mechanically sound. Seemed to know a lot about their legal obligations and nothing about customer satisfaction. Look how many 1 star ratings there are.
Not a place to buy a car without a mechanic by your side
STAY WELL CLEAR!
Purchased a Nissan Navara of this lot a few weeks ago and it was the worst decision of my life.
Firstly, drove the car out of the yard after paying, no longer that 24 hours later the car lost all power three times, once almost resulting in a major collision, all this after the car had been "Serviced and taken over the pits"
Granted they did fix this but this was the first of many issues.
The radio didn't work, the car overheated in the first trip to Lancelin going 110km/h, the alternator makes a horrible sound that i was told was "normal" but after taking the car to two other mechanics who laughed and said it was far from normal, BDA refused to fix it
Also the cruise control doesn't work, lights sometimes refuse to switch off and another horrible sound is heard whilst driving now.
All things that BDA wont fix under the governments statutory warranty which I will 100% be looking in to.
Keep in mind this has all happened 2 weeks after purchasing a so called "road worthy and tested car"
Silver tongued liars at their best, these guys make other used car salesman look like the pope !
Stay well clear as I have learnt my lesson and hope if you are thinking of purchasing a car through these twits you see this first and it changes your mind !
* Update
Seems strange that after the "full service and check up prior to selling" that no one picked up the fact the radiator was full of tap water and not a ioata of coolant was found.
I had to dump the lot and replace that myself, another chunk of money spent on car that these guys deemed "sellable"
I moved to Australia in Jan 2016 and bought a Nissan Dualis ST 2007 from Lee and the team. Super friendly service and gave us some great advice. A year later, we wanted to upgrade and get our first 4x4. Again, Lee and the team were really helpful and even gave us a great trade-in price on the Dualis so that we could buy a Nissan Navara D40 2011. I have been really impressed with both vehicles - VGC clean, tidy and mechanically sound.
I recommend Buckingham Autos to anyone that wants to buy a decent used car from an honest dealer!!! Thanks Lee and the team!!!
Greg is very freindly and the cars are good quality.
If i could give it less stars i would payed 14990 for an 80 series cruiser standard model (well above retail value) i have done less than 1000km since purchace. handbrakes fucked, p/s box is leaking, rear pinion seal is leaking, a/c doesnt work, ive had to disconnect the central locking and re-wire the entertainment system and aftermarket lights, found hidden rust that has been repaired (very poorly and full of panel dust on pick up) have already replaced the alternator at my expense! I have been back 3 times and the only thing they have agreed to look at is the handbrake. even then i may have to still pay for parts, i would rather do it myself at least it will be done properly. DONT EVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE THIEVING PRICKS!!!
The most disgusting experience with the Sales guy specifically named Greg. Basically had to beg him about taking a Mazda 3 out for a test drive and all he could say was "the 2012 drives exactly like the 2011"no they are both different cars "A brand new mazda does not drive the same as a used one etc etc" Very lazy and slack attitidue because he was closing up in 15 minutes time. After telling him our budget and FINALLY getting to test drive the car his attitude got worse. Will not go back to this car yard again. We bought a Mazda 3 down the road in in the Mazda dealership exactly in our budget range and also ALOT more brand new and in better condition than Buckingham Drives car. the sales man at Mazda dealership did not hesitate to drop down the ir prices for us and were ALOT more professional instead of acting like a smart as like the Buckingham Salesman.
Great friendly service, non pushy staff. Great service after purchasing the car. We purchased extra warranty, their workshop manager is also very helpful and friendly. Will definitely recommend and go there again in the future.
Can't thank Lee and his team enough for the excellent service. Non pushy, helpful and friendly. Thanks guys!
