  My mum and I went for dinner at the Ballcourt hotel Sunbury, ordered a snitzel burger and chicken kiev. The burger bun was very hard where it cut my mouth and they put fries not chips, which had been cooked in old oil. The salad tasted like the slowly developing dove tanning lotion. The chicken kiev was burnt on the bottom and partly raw in the middle, on a lovely bed of overcooked soggy, gluggy plain white rice with a nice warm garden salad which consisted of old spongy tomatos and sloppy floppy cucumber slices with slimey dressing. My mum doesnt have tastebuds and even she said it tasted bad. Needless to say we tried to finish our meals as we were hungry, But we couldnt as our stomaches were getting violated. Our waitress was lovely and offered us complentary drinks which we declined. Very well spent $70 great night out! :)

  My beef burger was average. The place might be fun on a busy weekend so I'm willing to come back for another shot. Might try the parma next time, they seemed popular.

  Nice place, good food. Pool tables. It is a great pub. They have a nice wine bar section as well. Food isn't exspensive.

  Food was good and fair bit of it on plates. Some really good specials for dinner as well. Bar was veryh quiet as well

  Got a Reserve Shiraz but was either opened too long or stored inadequately. Shiraz was very vinegary and did not taste like actual Shiraz. I was told that it was meant to taste like that and that and it needed time. The more 'time' I gave it, the more vinegary it became! The bar staff were very rude and non-accepting of this. They also gave a friend of mine who'd ordered mineral water the bottle and not the glass. Also cheese plate provided was with cheese straight out of the fridge and not rested at room temperature at all.

  We have just walked down to enjoy a very pleasant Sunday roast. With the new decor, great food and service a very nice way to get
  out of the cooking. Highly recommend you give them a try.
