The staff in the office at George's Manor and the people in charge are not welcoming and whenever you have an enquiry, they always make you feel like a burden. Our family member is in their care yet on many occasions we have been spoken down to. Not a place we recommend. Very disappointing as these are the people who are caring for our elderly.
I do not recommended this aged care home.

My mum is a resident here and I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful facility. It is a modern, clean and welcoming facility with lots of greenery and even a fish pond. I like that the rooms are large and that every room is exactly the same layout which allows for a comfortable setup where mum has her own space with lots of room for us to sit and visit with her and of course her own on suite. The facility is always spotless and clean smelling not like nursing homes of the past!. But the most wonderful thing about this home is the caring loving staff who look after our loved ones to a very high standard. For my family the people who work there and the people in charge are wonderful and they are constantly communicating with us about mums care and are very responsive to phone calls and emails, in short nothing is too much trouble when it comes to the care of their residents, in fact they encourage you to make contact with them. COVID 19 has certainly made things complicated for all of us with family in aged care but I fully support all the measures they have taken to keep the residents safe and am grateful that virtual visits are well organized and that their residents are their priority. We are extremely lucky to have found this home especially since we have not had pleasant experiences with other nursing homes who priority is more about their bottom line than the care. Thank you to all the nursing staff ( Seema and her team ) and physio (Sue and her team) and careers ( Erin and her team) who organize activities and entertainment and to the management , Carol and Joanne and to the friendly receptionist Dora who always greets you warmly, your all doing a great job and I have no hesitation in recommending George’s Manor to anyone.

It was like walking onto a cruise ship when we first saw Georges Manor! Lovely environment. The nursing staff are very helpful for my very sick mother-in-law and happy to work with us as a family for any requests. The management staff are always available to discuss any issues and are very professional and obliging.The social activities for the residents are well planned with plenty of variety and the meals are restaurant quality with good variety. George's Manor have done an outstanding job in keeping their residents safe during this COVID-19 season. Highly recommended.

My mum resides at Georges Manor, she feels at home and the care is exceptional. After each visit we are left reassured and confident with the care and services being delivered. A warm and welcoming place which I would recommend to others needing placement.
