Called Ace for turfing advice and to get a quote for my lawns. From the start of my conversation, the customer service officer was unhelpful, highly dismissive and couldn't wait to get off the phone. I'm definitely going elsewhere to spend my thousands on turf supplies and work.

The photo says it all - a delivery of 'pizza cut ironbark firewood' caked in mud and dirt and wet through. When we complained to Joe Vinci (co-owner), he blamed the rain and the price of petrol! He did offer to reimburse the delivery cost of $27.50 - but it's over 3 weeks now since delivery and no refund. No surprise! I should add that our experience with Ace delivery drivers over the last 3 years has been consistently rude and abusive (as reflected in other reviews here). Joe told us in our last conversation that we should go elsewhere for our firewood - great advice Joe! We strongly recommend that you look elsewhere too e.g. Four Seasons Nursery who deliver dry firewood with professional courtesy.

Super easy to deal with and very efficient service. I ordered some sandstone at 5pm and it was delivered before 8am the next day! Highly recommended

Ordered turf over phone. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Arrived on back of a Ute. Old guy on his own told me I have to help him unpack turf. After questioning this he told me this is the way they've done it for 30 years and he could do it on his own but would have to drop the turf from the Ute which he rightly stated wouldn't do it much good. When I said staff should inform customers that they have to help in a paid delivery he said I should have asked. Shame it happened that way, because everything else was fine.

Staff onsite are very helpful and friendly but the service went downhill from there, paid over $400 for a load of wood which I was told would be ‘free delivery’. They rang back later to say it was a mistake and I had to pay to be delivered. Wood then arrived soaking wet and muddy. Won’t be buying from them again.
