I went for lunch today at Aangan Footscray, their food is awesome. Lot of food options are available. Staffs are also good. Would like to recommend this place to everyone.☺️
Tasty food but Poor Ambience, joined tables for group of people which is very uncomfortable and we did not enjoy sitting. Had a booking already but still had to wait 30mins as they did not reserve the table. Very poor experience.
Overall, nice food and enjoyed. Great customer service
Hands down one of the best dinning place in west footscray. Enjoyed the dinner with family. Loved the food, presentation, and service stood to the expectation. Will definitely comeback later. Cheers🍷🍷
Incredible Indian food and always my go-to. The dine in experience cannot be beaten but their take out is great too. Living in LA I do miss good Indian food so I'm glad I was able to get my fix here while visiting Melbourne (home).
This place is really hyped but you never know what you are going to get, especially on the weekend. We have had the same dishes cooked several different ways ranging from excellent to really bad. Feels like many different chefs working here or a chef with many personalities. Definitely a lot better when eating in compared to takeaway. Worth visiting as it's a Footscray institution - An Indian food lottery that has thrived in a street that has at least a hundred other Indian restaurants.
Hands down the best Indian in Melbourne, one of the best i've ever had. The starters particularly are out of this world. Book a table to avoid disappointment
We love this restaurant and the dine-in experience is always great, as is the food. However, we were left waiting for our delivery order (made through their website) for over 1.5 hours after the expected delivery time, and then was told our order was never put through at all (after we called the restaurant the first time and was told our order was on its way with the last delivery orders) but they had charged our credit card. Then they were not even able to put through a credit card refund! I do NOT recommend anyone order through their website (which is terrible and incredibly inaccurate foor suburbs and addresses). Aangan I strongly recommend you review your website and if you provide an online ordering system then check it and provide the service you say you will!
Quality of food is going down now. 2 yrs back I wouldn't think twice giving 5 stars (or more if I could) but now, since having more branches the focus on quality is being compromised a bit. I can see that they're trying their best to uplift it but its not hitting the mark.
Absolute BEST Indian food I've had in Melbourne, and I've been searching for over 2 years for some decent fare! Would echo most of the comments on here around the quality of meals. But for those complaining about long wait times or some of the service etc, get a grip. It's a busy restaurant with a community feel, all part of the experience and I dare say they could do without people bringing uptight attitudes to what should be a chilled out, enjoyable dining experience. Amazes me the things some people look to complain about. I'll definitely be back!
Excellent, friendly service. Family atmosphere - a lot of children there on the weeknight we visited. There's a gazebo area out the back. Toilets very clean. Food too rich (oil and cream) for my taste.
Came a little early because they only do walk ins. We were lucky because around 7 pm there was long queue! Chicken Briyani is fragrant and tasty. The butter chicken is perfectly seasoned although not spicy enough! Highly recommended

The restaurant receives good reviews and good feedback on food and yet their service is well below acceptable. A booking for 7 was made on Father's Day and we weren't seated till after 7:30. Standing like lost sheep at the front entrance staff failed to even alert us of a waiting time. Truly disappointed and fair to say the food was unworthy of the wait.
Great Indian food. Not really a fine dine restaurant. They're not quite organized. May make you hop from one table to other. Tables are fidgety. If you care less about the atmosphere and comfort than food, it's a great place for you. You can enjoy some yummy Indian delicacies there. Their chicken biryani was really good.
The food and the service is always great especially at the Footscray branch. We have been coming for years and have never been disappointed. Thank you to the team for maintaining a great standard. WithBest Regards Raj & family.
Best foodauthentic Indian taste. Full on flavourful. Has the perfect Indian taste and spices. Value for Money..👌👌
I had a wonderful experience at Aangan footscray. The ambiance was great Food was Yummy. Service was really Quick.

Cheers
Good place if you are after some amazing north Indian food. Good customer service too. They have a really nice fun place at the back where you can eat inside a made up tent. They serve you there for party bookings and also when their main service is full which happens quite a lot. Bookings necessary and a bit pricier compared to other Indian restaurants in the are.
This is my favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne. The food is consistently excellent, the service is fast and so friendly and it's moderately priced. I came here because Aangan had won The Age restaurant awards and so it should. To top it off the restaurant is always buzzing with happy diners and so many Indians dine and party here as a testament to its authenticity. 5/5 for this Indian winner. Thanks all at Aangan
