Frendly service good prices
I gotta say when I started the Aldi experience when visiting ballarat I thought the packing your own groceries was a turn off. But now I see the easy flow it enables freeing up the employee which means they can keep up with queues. On the days it is busy you only have a little wait as they most likely will open up a register to cope with these times. Then there's the products. Whatta fantastic thing to be able to pick from their selection which I find are all as good as the popular brands. Less choice is a great thing and it saves time going on the hunt for what you want. Then the fact that they have the boxes with the perforated cardboard saves them unpacking & shelf stacking time. Finally the ingenious trolley lock. How good is this system for getting trolleys returned so they're not stolen and dumped in parks etc. Overall Aldis is a pleasant place to shop. It appears more roomy without the huge Isles that are nearly always stacked too high especially for the shorties. You don't have trouble finding things and it's a wonderful place to pick up gifts or house products at reasonable prices. Quality is up with the best of them. I can see myself still shopping at aldis when I'm one of the aldis.
