  Great day out. We took the train from Maldon to Castlemaine and back for Fathers Day 2017. Fair walk into town from the station (easily done with a pusher), recommend following the road. Don't bother veering off for the abandoned mine tower nearby. Basically just a tall tower, that's it.

  Excellent!
  From the moment you stand at the station ticket window to buy your ticket you
  are entering a world of dedicated volunteers who are so good in their roles.
  I recommend this steam train trip wholeheartedly, and I hope to take this train
