My husband and I had a wonderful experience at The Mill restaurant. Great food and exceptional, friendly service. There was no waiting for our food and we were looked after extremely well!

I don't normally write reviews, but in this instance I have to give credit where credit is due. Went to The Mill restairant Huntet Valley for the first time for my husband's birthday and we were all very impressed. The food was scruptiously delicious and very well presented. The service was impeccable and everyone was very friendly. Desserts were to die for especially the chocolate terrine witb cherries, highly reccomend it if you are a chocolate lover. Thank you The Mill restaurant Hunter Valley for an amazing experience.

Such a disappointment. Salty entrees, had to be sent back. Dirty tables. Bland, dry pork sliders for mains, indifferent service. Avoid if you want to have a good meal. There are so many better places in hunter

Terrible service, long wait, dirty tables & unfriendly staff. We arrived for a birthday lunch & left before eating. Wouldn't recommend!

Not returning here. After a 20 minute wait, which turned out to be 60 minutes, our Lamb Pizza arrived, without Lamb. Staff were friendly, however receiving what you order is definitely not a strong point here.

Our experience at The Mill started out well but ended in disappointment.
We were greeted warmly by the staff, but the wait between ordering and receiving our meals seemed far too long for a place with only two other tables.
Food ranged from average to inedible. In particular a prawn pizza drowning in bitter cheese, a bowl of hummus accompanied by tiny toast biscuits straight out of a packet, and an under-seasoned oily spaghetti.
Would not return for dinner, nor recommend to anybody I cared about.
If there is a bright point in this, it would be that it served to highlight the rest of our Hunter Valley experience in a positive light.

Nice place, however can be a little slow at times. Have found the food to be very good but sometimes I question the value. That being said, still go back often.

Food and service was all right, Hannah our waitress was very nice though. Basically food is just ok. Scallops and Wagyu are the best ones.

Good ambiance and view. Portions were in the smaller size, though tasty and well presented. A bit cleaner tables and less dead bugs in the salt shaker would be nice. Customer service was good.
