Calm Indian joint with great view

I have been before and the experience was horrible however after seeing in the mosman daily it was under new management I thought I would give it a go again. The place has really changed for the better now! I got the Salmon and my wife the lamb, we were both throughly impressed at the positive change with this new management.

Good food and service but utterly marred by crowded conditions inside and unbearable noise. Acoustics inside could be sorted easily with a bit of thoughtthe noise levels are bordering on industrial and make it all but impossible to have a conversation.

Tried to order take away. Was told under new management and website menu is wrong. Offered to read the menu to me. But impossible to order like that. Need to get their act together. Lost this customer!

The food here is just plain terrible. we ate here last weekend and for starters the place looked like crap. it was dirty and stunk of a vial foul odour. then we persisted and were finally seated at our table after waiting 1 hour at the front desk. Still we persisted. then we sat and ordered our entrees and mains, to wait a further 1 hour to get our entrees. Then to top it all off we found 2 hairs in the entree. This was the final straw. My missus got up, flipped the table and demanded that we leave immediately and never to return. Once i removed half the entree which i wore from her flipping the table, i followed suit. We will never return, well at least until the rest owner has paid all his outstanding invoices for services provided to him anyway. Terrible reviews will continue to be left until u have paid all your old debts. U have been warned.

Was visiting area for a conference, went for a walk, got caught in the rain, stopped outside this restaurant for shelter and was invited inside out of the rain. Staff were really friendly so decided to stay and eat. Cosy atmosphere, good variety on the menu, great serving size, really tasty food, superb views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and really good value on prices. Only a small place so may get crowded when busy and not in an "eating" area so need to know its there or stumble across it. I loved it and was an unexpected and unplanned highlight of my stay - would revisit without a doubt. They probably need to be careful about the small details for the more particular and exacting diner (eg small chip in serving platter) - doesn't detract for me as I'm there for the food and friendly atmosphere which was excellent. Definitely recommend.

A neigbourhood gem, with fantastic views of the harbour. The restaurant is difficult to spot from the street, and its not in a shopping or eat street, so it's still a hidden treasure. The service is friendly, and the food is both good and good-value.

A restaurant for NYE should go all out for its guests especially when you ask people to pay $130 and be out by 9:30pm. The restaurant was over crowded, and food poor quality. We were recommended by friends to go to this restaurant but the restaurant that night didn't live up to any standards, on a night where they should be at their best. Food was below standard. My mother cooks a better butter chicken and we didn't touch dessert. I don't mind paying $130, but you expect a restaurant to bring out their best food. This place served their basic food and at a poor standard. This ruined the beginning of our NYE celebration. We were extremely disappointed. 😔
