Our fourth stay at the Sheraton Grand Salzburg. The building and staff are amazing, and the location is fantastic; everything you want is within walking distance. And Christmas is Salzburg is magical.

Rooms are definitely dated.
I had booked a king bed room but when checking in reception advised they had booked out and needed to have housekeeping rearrange a twin bed room into king. When we arrived at our room it was still a twin bed configuration but then 30mins after settling in, housekeeping lady arrived to push the beds together. Wasnt the best customer experience. Club lounge selection was limited and waiters were not very professional. The head male waiter (in a suit) kept pacing and not very courteous when he was in the way when guests tried to get food.
Top location however was a compensating factor and it is very close to the panorama sound of music tour which was fantastic.

The room is old. No cafe facilitated in room. It does not look like 5 stars hotel to me. The receptionist is helpful. Location is nice.

Loved our (short) stay at the Sheraton Grand Salzburg. The front desk staff were amazing and so helpful on our first visit to Salzburg. A great place to stay and convenient to so many places within the city!

Excellent service and well appointed rooms. The executive lounge has a wealth a food and drink, making the upgrade well worth it. Great location! Negatives including being able to hear some foot falls from above and a very hot sleeping bed.

Sheraton Grand in Salzburg is a bit dated in terms of design but oh boy, it is one of the best SPG hotels our there in terms of services. Very accommodating and understanding. I want to give a special shout out to Fabiel (not sure about the spelling), who took my spontaneous crazy request at 3 in the morning seriously and tried his best to accommodate. When he had to leave that morning, he made sure that the staff on the next shift understand my whole situation.

Also, the club lounge here is top notch. It is well stocked with foods and drinks. Open from 6:30 in the morning to 10:30 at night. The staffs worked tirelessly to keep the place clean. There is a nice but small eating area outside. One of the best SPG properties out there for sure.

Convenient to central Salzburg, 10 min walk from the central station. Lounge is excellent, full breakfast spread. Suites are very good, bathroom in junior suite was phenomenal. Definitely my favorite in Salzburg

This was our second stay at the Sheraton Salzburg. We can't wait to return. A perfect location in town, walking distance to everything. The hotel remodel looks fantastic and the hotel staff was excellent at every level.

A nice touch and genuinely appreciated, unbeknown to us, the General Mgr, Hermann Fritzenwallner, was part of the team at reception and took the time personally walk us to our room and offer any help during our stay. A very classy touch and appreciated.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay perfect. Room was a Grand superior room which was newly renovated. In room Bose alarm clock, TVs in the room and bathroom, towel warmers, and complimentary spa robes and slippers.

Front office manager is not good! Nothing to do! Don't found my name in computer! Cool ! Im at door and my car waiting for someone to come but no one came 10 minutes! after they said that immediately stand out from the door! Thanks very very friendly! That hotel is minus star!!!

The hotel is well decorated and the staff professional and courteous. When we checked in the receptionist mistakenly told us we had breakfast included. When we arrived for breakfast we were told breakfast was not included, but we were seated while they said they'd double check. We were told in fact it was not which was embarrassing. Because this is the third hotel in the sight seeing tour of Austria I couldn't remember myself if I'd got breakfast, so it's not all the hotel's fault. There are no hot drinks facilities in the room. Instead you have vouchers for room service hot drinks, but I've yet to find them. I stay in hotels frequently for work, and rate this hotel as good value for the location, quality of room and staff, and price.
