Stayed on the first floor, room lovely and spacious. Very quiet. Shower was big and really hot. Only criticism would be that the beds are quite hard and the pillows very soft. We asked for additional pillows which staff were more than happy to provide. Staff were really helpful with all of our questions. Would stay again.

We had a nice stay here in room 101.
Location: The hotel is located in a great area in walking distance to shops and restaurants. We frequented the mall across the street to buy groceries and get coffee. Bus stop is very close that will take you anywhere you want to go.
Hotel room: The room was nice. However for two people with eight days worth of clothes we packed the wardrobe full. That can happen anywhere though. The room has a small refrigerator and kettle to make instant coffee and tea. The TV was a flat screen with a good picture and HDMI inputs. The bathroom shower/tub was great. Plenty of hot water and pressure and a nice deep tub. The mattresses are very firm and this is the only reason why I didn't rate the hotel higher. Seven nights on a very firm mattress still has my back aching.
Hotel Sauna:. The sauna is nice. The Turkish bath looked a bit awkward to enter and exit but it was down for maintenance anyway. The steam room was nice and steamy but could have been a bit warmer. Please follow sauna etiquette and enjoy it. It is a fully nude sauna.
Hotel Restaurant: This is a great option for dining. We enjoyed all of the meals we got there. They serve traditional German food as well as some non traditional items. Best of all they have beer for those of you can indulge. They do not have any gluten reduced or gluten free beers and nothing specifically states it is gluten free on the menu which was tough for me but I survived. The hotel also serves a wonderful sprawling breakfast in the morning. The breakfast buffet had fresh breads, Gluten Free breads, pastries, eggs, sausage, yogurt, coffee and juices. It is 15€ but it is worth the convenience and selection in my opinion. However I recommend you venture out a few days as well because there are some great little cafes out there.
Hotel Staff: Very friendly and helpful. They all seem like genuinely good people and I valued their opinions and advice. Always present at the front desk 24 hours a day with a smile and ready to help.response / report this review -

Good room with friendly staff. Bathroom was excellent. Bedroom was slightly dated, but it added to the charm of the hotel.

Wonderful stay in a 3 bed room. Nicely furnished, clean and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent. Conveniently located near a small mall with cafes and a BIPA/ Billa for those last minute needs. Parking lot was good, 10€ a night.

Close to train station but remote to city center, room is very small and outdated. The lady behind the desk was very mean, treated me like a homeless. I will never recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. This was only bad experience I had during my otherwise pleasant 18 day- 7 city Europe trip.

The room and location was nice, however, we were robbed by the hotel staff of 400.00 euro.
We arrived there in the evening went out to eat, when we came back it was around 10:00 pm we asked for cloth because we wanted to use Sauna which is upstairs top floor. We took the bathrobes they provided us and went to the Sauna. During the time we were up there we were robbed. The robber used a key (card) to open our door and take only our cash. He had they access to our room and he new we were not there. We called the cops and file a claim but this was a inside job of the staff, they lied that they can't see what card was used to open our door and they refused to talk about it.

Spacious rooms with an authentic retro flair and nice bathrooms. Right between the center and the main train Station, with a small shopping mall right next to it. Staff is helpful.
