The hotel is close to the city center - about 15 minutes from Mirabell Gardens. The rooms are vintage but clean. Breakfast is good (coffee could be better though). Friendly staff.

the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean. the view is nice. but don't expect much with the decoration, it has the low cost hotel look. but I recommend, it's close to everything.

Location: Convenient since it's a 7 minute walk to Salzburg Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof). It's a 10 min bus ride to the center of the city where you can begin your sightseeing, though.

Service: Service was good for the most part. Check-in was delayed a lot but it was because there was a large group of school girls (40+ of them) who had arrived a few minutes before us. Although the staff at the front desk was polite and helpful, it felt like they were about to be a bit impatient/impolite on a couple of occasions but they held themselves back. Overall, though, they were fairly decent and helpful.

Room: The room was a bit small but still not cramped for space. The layout and furnishings were very nice and the room itself was clean and well-maintained.

Food: Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety and vegetarian options. The lady who was in charge of service during breakfast was very nice and took care of us very well.

Overall, this is a very decent hotel and worth the money we paid for it. Given a choice, I would probably not hesitate to stay here again.

The dark haired lady at reception was the most obliging person that we ever met in any hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The location was a bit far from the centre of Salzburg. Eileen - Ireland

Good location as it was within walking distance to town along the River. Rooms were clean and the breakfast room staff helpful with our next destination plans. The WiFi service could have been easier to access. The front desk check in had some difficulties locating our reservation which we made well in advance from Canada but they did find it eventually. Parking is nearby and lovely gardens as well.

The hotel was comfortable and close to the train station. The staff at the desk were very helpful with bus schedules and stops. Directions to the sights which were just a pleasant walk along the river away and suggestions for concerts made for a lovely visit.
