Beautiful views over the deer park and a fish and game menu in the restaurant. Very high quality food in a recently refurbished, but still traditional setting.

Has really good food including roasted deer and other traditional Austrian food. Also there is a small petting zoo with bunnies and goats.

very nice rooms, kitchen was very helpful to. they cooked special vegetarian food. unfortunately the menu is very much focused on meals with meat.

Fantastisches Restaurant, hier kann man nichts falsch machen.
Um das Restaurant herum sind die ganzen Gehege und Teiche in denen die Hirsche/Fische/Ziegen und so weiter leben. Ab und zu röhrt auch ein Hirsch sehr laut, was sehr erhaben klingt!
Das Essen schmeckt fantastisch, da alles direkt vom gleichen Hof kommt. Kaiserschmarren auch sehr empfehlenswert.
Wir hatten eine Bedienung, die war die Beste, die ich je hatte. Witzig, nicht nervig und sehr flott. Das Ambiente ist absolute Spitzenklasse. Ein kleiner Bach treibt ein Holzrad an und der Bach verläuft dann unter einer Glasscheibe durch das Restaurant.
Würde gerne mehr als 5 Sterne geben, wenn es ginge!

We have long yearned to visit Salzkammergut, and finally this October our dream went to reality. We found Gasthof Kleefeld in Tripadvisor and it was happy choice. Cozy hotel, clean, nice, perfect located at hillside, surrounded by majestic hills. Separate chapter was restaurant: very impressive place, but what was the best was meal, it was so delicious that we always consumed all what we obtain - but alas for our weight the portions were really rich. The staff was simply perfect, we had feeling that they are member of our family. We recommend visit this place for families with children - there are lots of deer, does, rabbits, mountain goats, sheep at fences next to hotel. You can see majestic deer through fence eye-to eye for half meter distance. Of course, it was October, so deer blared out all the nightI think, another month would be better time for staying and sleep there, maybe. Sure we try to return there someday.
