Great hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to the city. The grocery store next door was also very convenient. Highly recommend.

Very slow wifi.
Bad smell in the room.
Room was small for my family (2 adults and 2 kids).
Free parking.
Good location, near the salzburg outlet.
Nice staff.

I cannot understand why this hotel has a decent rating. It was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our road trip and also the worst. We had two rooms, the first, upon entering had hair in the shower and on the floor. Then my kids dropped something on the floor, bent over to pick it up and there was a ball of hair on the ground. So gross. The second room had hair in the bed sheets? Generally just not clean rooms. This morning housekeeping walked into one of our rooms without knocking at 8 a.m. Didn't say a word, just turned around and walked out.
But by far the most frustrating part of the stay was the wifi. Because they advertise free wifi, I was counting on that to get my work done in the evenings. But their service can't keep up with the demands and for three hours each night I tried desperately to log in. Called to complain so they could restart it, still didn't help.
They are attached to a grocery store, where teenagers like to hang out (in the parking garage of the hotel).

Hotels are generally very expensive in Salzburg but this offers a reasonably priced option a few miles out of the city centre. More convenient for those with cars. There is a free outdoor car park (non secure, rear) accessible around end of the block and up a ramp. Rooms are reasonably sized (family rooms consist of two double beds). There is free Wi-Fi but it is not very fast. It is much slower in the evenings when more guests are using it. The room we had was clean, air-conditioned and comfortable - although there was an odd odour (lemongrass and smelly socks). Thankfully, opening the window went a reasonable way to remedying that. The hotel is situated near the airport and there are restaurants, supermarkets and a mall situated within a 5-10 minute walk. It is reasonably quiet, only the occasional passing car. I wasn't aware of much aircraft noise despite the proximity to the airport. The view from the car park is very nice - mountain.

Rooms are great. Staff is friendly. Good hotel if you want to stay close to the airport. It is a bit out of the way for accessing Salzburg city center.
