At arriving we were made to wait for 10 minutes because the staff was out doing groceries. The hotel itself is a nice building from the outside, and the lobby looks authentic and well maintained. The rooms are the opposite. Loose floorboards, broken off doors on the wardrobe, worn out paintwork, damaged doors. The bathroom is horrendous; filthy, to the point where there's a brown cake of calcide on the shower head and fungus festering in the edges of the shower door. I doubt cleaning ever goes beyond a simple rinse. To top it all off, the hotel decided that 10pm is a great time to do some much needed reconstruction work with a heavy drill and an electric saw. The beds are pretty good, and the hotel is well-situated, but you're better off passing this one.

Very friendly staff! A little bit away from he city center, but very close to the HBF and other public transit options. Clean and comfortable rooms. We decided to stay an extra night because we are having such a good time!
