We came here hoping we could get a table for lunch because their website said we couldn't get a reservation this month, but luckily, we got a table. The wiener schnitzel was incredible as might be expected. I would recommend splitting it between two people as it's massive. The potato soup and potato salad we're also fantastic sides to accompany the schnitzel. Additionally, the service was friendly and fast. I would highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.

Not just best schnitzel I ever had in my life, but also the biggest! Ever. Apricot schnapps is delicious.
You may have some hard time to get in on weekends if you come without reservation. So, better to call in advance and reserve a table.

Great food and service. Try the 110 year old pork schnitzel recipe. Euro $29 with a small salad, potato salad and a large bottle of sparkling water. Warm inside so I had to take off layers until only a T-Shirt.

Fantastic and best schnitzel in Vienna. Be aware that they are enormous though, approximately 30cm in diameter. Very tasty. Good house white to wash it down with too. Would recommend booking a table in advance as it does get busy! There is a second restaurant around the corner though.

Came here without a reservation for 5 person, we waited for an hour on a Wednesday night, and most of the people came here having reservations. Priority was given to them, therefore please be very patient. The Schnitzel was served in a very big portion (encourage small eaters to share a plate instead of having one each). Drinks: The grape juice (Figmuller Vineyard) was to my liking. It was sweet, but fragrant. Worth the try. Overall, I still think it is a good experience except for the waiting time.

The schnitzel was thin and large, larger than the plate. It taste good. Gets boring nearing the end though.

The Wiener Tafelspitz (boiled beef in pot) was tasty. The soup is very tasty. Taste like Indonesian beef clear-soup. Honestly Taste like our home cook food.

Service was ok, nothing to brag about. Better reserve your table, we saw quite a few groups couldn't get table.

Quite a good meal but the wait is a bit excessive. Tried to get into the main restaurant but was turned away. Best to make reservations in advanced. Around the corner is more casual dining area (see pics). It is good but I think it was more for popularity.

Fantastic service, food and beer (Ottakringer)! Highly recommend everyone eat here. My husband and I shared the pork schnitzel and had a potato salad with it. We also had a sweet Austrian Berry sauce on the side (AMAZING). Everyone working here was extremely happy and inviting! Manfred, our waiter is AWESOME!

Best schnitzel I had in Austria and in my life. The portion is bigger than the plate and it's super juicy and crispy. It was so good I came here everyday, even right before our flight. The potato salad was also insanely good. My favorite place to eat in Vienna!

Simply perfect! The original schnitzel and especially the complementary salad was superb! The food was on the table minutes after ordering by the efficient and observant staff. The perfect place to eat at after visiting St. Stephen's Cathedral. The schnitzel is Big, and splitting one schnitzel with our own salads was perfect for a lunch :)

Stumbled into this place on a busy weeknight. My wife and I were immediately given a table. We ended up sharing a bottle of local wine, enjoying they large schnitzel and chicken cordon bleu. Excellent large portions, kind and helpful waitstaff, and great Viennese atmosphere.

Famous for their large schnitzels and for good reason. No beer served here though. Recommended to reserve a table on the weekends. They have several locations within easy walking distance. Great for tourists to experience a nice schnitzel.

They are famous for their schnitzel. Big and tasty. Their salad was a plus. But it's expensive for what they offer. 5 € for a 0,75l of water it's way too much. I'm coming from a country where you don't pay for water. Even if you're not a customer you are offered water if you ask for it.

If you want a true Austrian meal, this is the place. The Figlmuller Schnitzel, pork, is amazing and it's a lot of food. It's bigger than the plate they serve it on. I also ordered the chicken cordon blue, and it was also delicious. Our server recommend the potato salad, which was also good. Their selection of wines is also nice, I had a Riesling.

If you want the best Schnitzel Austria has to offer, look no further!
We happened on it by chance, and decided to try it. But the "first" restaurant is small, cozy, and was very busy; a good sign! Luckily, they have a "second" restaurant that is larger and less cozy, just around the corner, and with the same menu and excellent food.
The staff all speak German, are very professional, and the pork and veal schnitzels we had were the best we had in 2 weeks of travelling in Germany and Austria.
