Very comfortable hostel, they have toilets in the rooms, they were giving clean sheets and towels, you can walk to the center if wheather is nice, its about 1.5- 2 km away. only bad thing was the light of the bed does not working.

Nice accommodations with a lot of common areas to hang out. Would be 5 stars, but they don't enforce the kitchen cleaning rule at all, so there are tons of dirty dishes. Despite that, i would come back.

For my first time in a hostel it was actually pretty nice. Nice staff, no problems with other guests, hot shower with great water pressure, good location. My only gripe is that the towel they provide is pretty small but it gets the job done

Great staff and so very helpful. Clean room and ensuite facilities. Great common area with reasonably priced drinks and snacks. Good location next to main station and quiet at night.

Hostel room was in another building next door to the reception which was alright but not the best. No curtains covered the window at night so lots of light poured into the room making it hard to sleep. Also as it was very hot we left the window open so lots of traffic noise could be heard. The some beds were covered in hair making it an unpleasant experience when making your bed. The bathroom had a sensor for the light so when you are showering or on the toilet the light could go off. You would have to start waving your arms around to try and turn the light back on making it an unpleasant experience. The toilet also did not smell very pleasant. Not all beds had plug sockets next to them. The walk into the city centre was not too long. Overall, I would not recommend this hostel.

Small space but clean. You get what you pay for in these hostels. Perfect for a couple nights stay while travelling. Very close to public transport. Reasonable area.

The rooms are nice, the service is good and the front desk is very helpful. Fro the price the hostel is good but a fairly long walk into the city centre. Also it is not the friendliest hostel in terms of being not too easy to meet other travellers.

If you enjoy sleeping in a room only slightly larger than a shoe box, by all means book a room in Do Step Inn!
Room:
There was literally no space in the tiny room. The bed was blocked by walls on 3 sides and most of the fourth side. There wasn't even a chair to sit on in the room and there was barely enough room for two people to sit on the edge of the bed.
There was no AC in the room and the room smelled of cigarettes, probably because the window opened up to a courtyard where people were constantly smoking and the other visitors were constantly making noise.
There were only 2 power outlets in the room, not enough to charge both phones and a camera.
Bathroom:
We were provided with only two small towels, the water pressure was terrible, and instead of a roll of toilet paper there was a dispenser like the ones in public rest rooms. We were discontented to find out that shampoo and soap were not supplied.
Service:
After asking at the reception we were lied to that the convenient store was already closed and there was nowhere to buy toiletries but a tiny bottle of shampoo/soap (not enough for one person to wash his or her hands) cost only 1 euro.
We were not charged for the room beforehand and found out that the final price was higher than guaranteed when making reservations.
Do yourself a favor and never book a room there.

I had a great experience here. The place is really organized and clean. And even though it has a bar inside the hostel we have no problem with noisy.

The staff didn't tell me anything when I checked in. The few times I went to ask questions I couldn't find anyone working so I had no idea there was a kitchen until I just read other people's comments on here. It is quite a walk into the centre but very convenient if you're catching public transit. I was also very unlucky with the people I was sharing a room with.

Very nice friendly hostel with some nice touches like a full kitchen for guests which is 24 hour, helpful reception and free towels and linens. Useful location right next to the westbahnhof and although not the prettiest area it is close to Schonnbrunn and Mariahilfer strasse for shopping and eating

Location is a bit far from tourist attractions, but it's close to a subway stop so for 2.20€ we could get into town pretty quick and easily. There are restaurants and malls close by too. The hostel itself has very nice facilities! Bed linens provided (though not towels). Bathrooms and kitchen are very nice and clean. Bed was comfy too
