We spent three happy days and nights at the Wilhelmshof recently.
We could not fault it for comfort, cleanliness or charm. Our room was large, the bathroom had organic toiletries and an excellent shower and the breakfast was one of the best we have had in hotels.
The staff were uniformly helpful and pleasant and we could get to nearby Praterstern station directly from the airport on the S7 suburban line train.
All in all, a wonderful short break.response / report this review -

Located 5 min walk from metro and train station, clean, confortable and very good breakfast. Be careful what room you book and what you get. Average experience.

Two night stay with two friends in early November.
Staff very helpful & friendly.
Excellent access from airport and to city centre.
Very clean room and bathroom.
Plenty of breakfast choices (included in price)
Good WiFi (incl.)
Differentiation is the art & artist themed décor and high profile 'green' and organic credentials. There's also a nice patio garden in the centre courtyard.
Rooms were a bit warm for us but we could fix that - and we found the same at a lot of buildings and venues in the city during our visit.
The usual continental European hotel double bed configuration of two single beds pushed together with single duvets always takes 'a bit of getting used to' but we enjoyed our stay

This is not a luxury 5 star hotel, but it nevertheless wins five stars hand down!
Walking distance from the city center, very near two subway stations. Very nice location overall.
Staff is nice and helpful, rooms are clean.
The free wifi and breakfast (surprisingly good!) are appreciated as well.
Had a real nice time in Vienna, and for the price I paid, this hotel was a real bargain!response / report this review -

Lovely hotel with friendly staff and green ethos. Situated close to public transport and with garden at the rear. Wonderful self service breakfast with great variety of choice suitable for vegetarians and non.

Service was great. Front desk workers were very nice and helpful. Air conditioner worked great. Breakfast was really good, and the WiFi worked all over the hotel, even in the rooms.

The location not bad its near to the river, train station & prater fun city. The room is small, The bed not very good & bad pillows. not worth the money.

I was here during a heatwave and the rooms had no air conditioning. Even after asking for our unit to be repaired (after it started spewing out hot air!), it still didn't work. Probably the most uncomfortable stay ever.
I can imagine if you were here in October, it would be lovely. The hotel is clean, and charmingly decorated.response / report this review -

Excellent. Friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable bed, thermostat easy to adjust, window could be opened, Only problem was that the light on the left side of the desk did not go on.

Excellent service and beautiful hotel! The breakfast was versatile and delicious. Plus comes from the great location, near the Prater amusement park, train station and metro. All in all nice stay, I highly recommend.

This is a very nice hotel. It was very east to find and just a block off the metro. A very nice modern and recently updated room. The morning breakfast is the best anywhere I have been. Fresh breads, fresh fruits, cold meats and cheeses, bacon and eggs, fresh juices. And more. Will definitely stay here again if we are in Vienna
