What an amazing property. We come from Dubai when we want to have a „Maldives“ beach experience. The rooms are nice, the breakfast buffet amazing, the pools don’t leave any wishes open. Staff is friendly. Hotel lobby amazing. Kids club is absolutely stunning and amazing (one of the best we have ever seen) !! We will be back !

Honestly? Zero complaints. The room service is excellent. The decorations and design of the whole hotel and the rooms specifically is 10/10. I loved everything about my visit, also the variety of restaurants they have and a really nice coffee shop at the collection was much needed. Don’t hesitate to book a stay in here.

Great place for couples and also families.
Amazing swimming pool, great beach! Variety of cuisines/restaurants. Busy on weekends. I personally "Loved" their hospitality! If you plan to come a minimum of 3 nights are recommended to enjoy the fullest.

Magical experience!

This hotel is absolutely mesmerizing, I don’t think I’ll be able to stay anywhere else. The rooms are huge, clean and very well prepared. The breakfast and dinner are delicious; whereas the beach is beautiful.

I’d like to thank Mario and Hamza for their wonderful service. They were a delight to have and really made the entire stay amazing! They did everything they could to make sure we were enjoying our time and that our needs were met.

The Facts You Would Want to Know

Here are the facts you want to know about the St. Regis Saadiyat before you book your stay:

The good stuff:
- Amazing wide white beach with very clear water and fairly shallow water, perfect for small children.
- It a heaven for kids, so many other kids to play with, and a large kids club.
- The breakfast: Massive buffet, with especially very good pastries.
- All restaurants are really excellent, Buddha Bar, the Thai and the Greek, all serve very high quality food and have excellent service. Even the buffet is not bad!
- Good location, close to the Louvre and 20 min drive from Yas Island and downtown.

The not so good stuff:
- If you don’t have kids, you really don’t want to stay here.
- The room was not prepared for arrival: No water, no fruit, no beach bag, no kids bed, no nothing.
- The breakfast: Super crowded, tea and coffee service can take 30 min, it can be an impossible chaos you just want to escape.
- Beach Service: They run out of towels in the early afternoon, and it can be hours before they restock.
- Gym: Very few of the about 15 cardio machines actually work, especially if you want to watch TV while working out.
- Kids club: Lots of activities scheduled for the afternoon, they just never happen “due to lack of staff”.
- It’s all a bit old and dated, especially the carpeting everywhere.
- You need to tip handsomely to get anywhere with the staff, especially on the beach.

Room wasn’t ready well after check out and service at upstairs lunch area was painfully slow. Reception area wasn’t clear so guests were having to negotiate where it was Ana who was in line next. Wonderful service but seemed uncoordinated and under staffed.

The hotel itself looks pretty good, however the service you will receive might not be as luxury as you expect. Hotel gets over crowded so when you are off to pick up some more watermelon at the breakfast you come back at the table with new family seated and just like that they make you leave. At the adult pool the guy cleans the dirty table
and opens a stroll for your cola almost simultaneously, and the cherry on top They don't have time to wait when their bedsheets arr dry fully, so expect to sleep in sticky, half wet half dry bedsheets. Have a good stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days with friends and family. The Cleaning and pool staff was very nice. Food was good. We especially liked the e-butler service. You could ask for reservations and help through WhatsApp 24hours a day.

Unfortunately there was a congress held during our stay and there was lots of security running around and it made the 3 days very unpleasant.

We where also disappointed by the management.
At arrival we asked for late check out, because our flight was in the middle of the night. They told us they can offer us until 6pm complementary. Which is very generous in general.
However on day of check out they called us at 6.10pm and asked when we will be checking out, with a baby everything took a bit longer and we where out by 6.40pm. As we came to the lobby little stressed out because the baby wasn’t feeling well, they told us we now had to pay 50% of the room rate. After 7 days spending lots of money in the hotel, we find this very disappointing!
The manager wasn’t a available and the manger on duty didn’t know what to do. After all we received an email that this is hotel policy and they will not refund the money!

It made us very angry at the end of our stay and will not recommend the hotel to friends and family again. Next year we will not come back to the hotel.

The property is gorgeous, and the room was lovely. Our view was amazing. Very comfy bed. The breakfast was also excellent. However, we had nothing but problems with our air conditioner. Engineering had to come up to our room at midnight to fix it, and it shut itself off again in the morning. Made for a frustrating and uncomfortable stay, instead of the relaxing night we expected.

The place is fantastic, spacious rooms and bathroom. The staff are way too friendly and helpful. The view of the ocean is breathtaking and I would visit this place again and recommend everyone to visit

What a great place for a family weekend get away. Beautiful rooms, efficient staff, great selection of food, kids club and only 10 mins away from Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Buddha Bar is currently under renovations so might be better to go when this is ready.

The rooms are spacious, I stayed here multiple times for business and for holiday, the kids are rewarded by a special pool with some water games and also a kids center and my other highlight is the location of this resort. This is one of my favorite beaches, it is open as you can walk the whole beach even out of the resort premises St. Regis is part of SPG, which I haven’t seen any noticeable benefits when staying many times and becoming a gold member. You get very basic only like a fruit basket or an enhanced WiFi!

Basically a good Hotel but some things are absolutely unacceptable.
The food in the main restaurant is good, but nearly the same each day. As we travelled with a little child, it made no sense to use the other restaurants.
After 3 days we had to move to another room at 9pm in the evening when our little child should go asleep because of a terrible smell of thinner coming out of the air conditioning. We got the offer of moving to another room quickly after they checked out room but basically I don't expect such a problem in a St. Regis.
The other problem that has nearly ruined our whole holiday has been a letter we found in our room a day when we returned from a day long trip with our rented car. In the letter they told us that we (and most of the other guests) have to leave the hotel at the next day because they have to host a high level official delegation and government event. (picture of the letter is attached)
As this was absolutely unacceptable for me I had much discussions with the manager. At the end we were allowed to stay
For me it is clear that I will never return here and I will never advise this hotel to my friends as this is an accommodation where they simply chuck out their guests if there are any guests that are more important.
So you can't be sure to stay there even if you have confirmation or you are already checked in.
For a holiday absolutely not advisable.

Absolutely stunning hotel! Everything is immaculately clean. Modern decor that isn't too over the top. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food and facilities. Easy access to the beach 🏖 overall a great stay! Would highly recommend!

I would rarely rate 5 stars but our staycation at St Regis was just perfect. Amazing service, best that I have ever experienced. When they say family friendly they really mean it. The small touches like a nice cot and cute baby towel for bubs were appreciated.
Amazing facilities, the kids loved the splash play area and the family pool was amazing. Fantastic spread for breakfast. Driving back home we really felt like we were coming back from a holiday.

I went for Easter Sunday Buffet lunch. Price was reasonable and you get a huge variety of choices of food and drinks. The wine that was available on my package was disappointing though. There was only one choice of white and red and weren't very nice to the palate. I recommend the Magharita. There was also live band singing popular western music.

So .. we only stayed one night but it was awesome. Quality hotel in Abu Dhabi.. it is good for families, couples and business travelers.

Room tip: ask for a high floor with a sea view ideally on the right side of the hotel .. this means you get more son.

Tips: the gym is very good .. very very good,
Bright: one of the beach staff makes a great Long Island again highly recommended!
The breakfast is simply epic!!
