Strategic location, great breakfast. Service need be improved though: reception no answer for more than 10 min in the afternoon, forgot take laundry, service attitude is not welcoming, room not that clean: strange smell in bathroom . you got best location in town but obviously the service is away from the best.

At the Palace hotel I had an amazing buffet dinner. All national foods were on offer and for the price it is well worth it. With the sounds of the Dubai Fountains in the background, the outside ambience is amazing. I would highly recommend booking yourself dinner here of an evening as the views from the balconies and lower ground floor of all the buildings are spectacular. Food was fabulous.

The palace hotel is one of the most prestigious hotel in Dubai downtown, with a great atmosphere, great welcoming and professional team, rooms are large and extra clean, the food is extraordinary with a huge variety, all amenities available as well souvenir shops, its location opposite khalifa tower the highest world tower and it location on the biggest dancing fountain makes it the best gateway, surrounded by the biggest number of restaurant and at a walking distance to the biggest mall in the world give you the best shopping experience.

Top hotel experience - in short the staff were the best, they catered to every need and the decor is very charming.
A few things I loved:
- at midnight I smashed glass in the bathroom and it went everywhere. Within minutes someone was in there vacuuming. I had to persuade the poor chap he had done enough after ten mins of aggressive vacuuming and let him go. I don't think I'd ever get someone to my room that fast in London.
- poolside, there are staff walking around offering to clean your sunglasses for you! The same staff also carry an Evian spray bottle which they spray over your face to freshen it up.
- poolside, staff make up your sunbed within 30 seconds of your arrival and drinks are brought right up.
- spa area is sublime and I did not feel bad at all taking a couple of hours out of my Dubai schedule to lock myself away in here
- location is really good, lots of taxis in and out and few minutes walk to Dubai Mall.

Best hotel I ever stayed in my life I would say, I have stayed in many many 5 star hotels around the world but this is one of a kind. The location is perfect , staff is perfect the views , the atmosphere and most importantly the staff is very friendly and always smiling Mariam on Concierge and bellboy David as well as Poonam on front counter were amazing during our stay.

Staff very polite and could not do enough. Hotel was spotless and room very spacious. Breakfast was superb, the choice was plentiful. Evening meal was excellent. Cannot fault.

Absolutely nice and pleasant hotel! Very close to Dubai Mall. Good breakfast and restaurants. We were very pleased with the friendly ambiance and very professional and respectful attitude of Shephard who served us in the mornings. Thanks!

I would highly recommend the Downtown palace . I visited here for my 50th birthday and it was fabulous from start to finish. With a high standard of service from staff and the food was exceptional. I was up graded to a luxurious suite which was beautiful. I look forward to another stay here at this 5 star plus hotel.

Next to the Burj Khalifa Lake, this palatial, Arabian-style hotel is 3 km from The Dubai Mall and 7 km from the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Great location, nice view and establishment. The room assigned for a short stay was very far and the corridors not clean. The room was spacious but quite dark (lighting also dark) and no view on the burj/fountains
The price paid was quite expensive for this room. The reception is poorly located in the middle of the entrance and people jump the queue/interrupt. The management was contacted and responded with apologies for the poor service provided (kept waiting and lack of response to basic requests + slow check in at night).
Spa is very good, the restaurants and bar are fine but not to the standards of such establishment / could be improved.

My most favorite hotel in Dubai, the heritage of Dubai in the center of the modern Dubai.
I love everything about this hotel. From the Arabic coffee ,the karak tea ( both complimentary ) yet done up to your expectations. Not a cold coffee or tea like some others hotels might do.
The smell of the entrance, the sounds of the water fountain. It awakens your senses.

We just went for dinner and enjoyed the spectacular view and outdoor space. Waiters were polite but a bit on the inattentive and slow side. This was more than a year ago, things might have changed since then.

We visited Ewaan Lounge at the palace after dinner for dessert/drinks. It has a great atmosphere, good shisha and even though you can't see the fountains it still a spectacle as they have decorated it so well. Prices are a bit steep but not more than you would expect for a place of this stature. Would def recommended, their brownie sundae was amazing.

went there for a massage session in the spa. the experience was relaxing and very enjoyable, the staff were friendly and caring. i loved everything about the place except for the valet parking which took ages to take and get my car.

My 3 hours experience in that spa was absolutely amazing! Time went so fast and well so I definitely want to come back. Gents spa is not huge but I didn't find any guests around and was able to enjoy being there alone. There are some snacks and drinks to chill outside or inside after sauna and jacuzzi.
I was deeply impressed by the service. The guys maintain everything around. I got even the neck pillow with the warm sand inside after my 80 minutes massage. Before we began the massage therapy I was asked to choose the oil, temperature and music I like. Everything you need for releasing the stress you can find there.
