Great value for the price. Spacious, clan and comfortable rooms. It is not too far from the Abu Dhabi Mall. Tunnel leading to Sheik Sayed Road is about 200 Meters from the hotel.

Nice hotel that also offers long term apartments. They hold a good quiz on Tuesday. Well worth heading to if you are around. Starts at 8:30.

Great place to stay. Service quality is really great. I like big rooms and pool on roof. You can also eat and drink in great place on lower floor. If I will back to Abu Dhabi I will definitely choose that place again.

Was here just overnight after a delayed flight resulted in a missed connection. The room was great - spacious, comfortable & clean. It had international power points which was great as I hadn't planned to stay in Abu Dhabi so didn't have a converter with me. The only problem was the pikllows smelled of cigarette smoke. The next morning I noticed an ash tray in the room so was suprised it was only the pillows that smelled. It took forever to check in and get the key but their dinner and breakfast buffets were good.

Excellent service, the staff is amazing and always willing to help.
The breakfast was top standard .
Rooms are clean and spacious .
We had an awsome 2 weeks stay.
Will definitely be coming back.

Went on steak fest and it was amazing. All you can eat and drink for $100. Food was great and the service was great. Definitely would recommend.

popular facilities.. good staff community market..
Room are too big.. food too good and quickly serve always..Its always a solid destination tourist or local. Especially during the winter when they have the ice skating rink up and the decorations. It's one of the only places you'll ever be able to ice skate and see the sunset over the ocean

Ok. Certainly not bad but not overwhelming either.

Nice place. Location so-so. No info on or help with buses (bus stop on the doorstep?). Same for bicycles. Staff is friendly but not local, not very knowledgeable.

Food bit expensive. Empty minibar (shops nearby, not for beer etc though). Beers at the small pool where shisha smells dominate. Rooms are nice. Halls are windy.

It is OK.

Stayed in the Presidential suite and loved the room. The food provided for lunch and dinner were good. I recommend this place for visits by others.

Very pleasant stay in this Hotel.
stayed for 1 week.
Enjoyed Gym roof top pool and its Dining experience.
Rooms are large and well appointed.
Bathroom area if glass not suitable if sharing with a friend but otherwise very nice.

Great hotel and amenities. Wonderful housekeeping and pleasant concierge. Ideal for couples and professionals, good enough for small family. Good restaurants and food. Good WiFi, great location and taxis always available outside the hotel. Bus stop just outside.

Very nice hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. During my first trip to UAE, the airline I flew in on lost my luggage and the front desk staff were all over calling the airline to get it back for me.

I came back a second time to the hotel and was welcomed back and given a complimentary plate of fruits and cookies in my hotel room. Very nice touch.

Hotel is clean and modern, the restaurants are fairly good, and the pool on the roof offeres excellent views of the sunset.

I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is excellent! Very clean, very quiet and very comfortable. Service is also excellent - right from the front desk, concierge, room cleaning and buffet breakfast - we even had a breakfast box provided for our early morning departure. The only downside we felt was the location - we needed a taxi or the hotel shuttle to get anywhere.

Really friendly and helpful staff. It feels like they consider you a family member and do not hesitate to help you further than their duties. Hotel is very nice as well. Quiet environment and nice leisure places. Beds and pillows so comfy. Spacious rooms. Will definitely visit again

Great place to stay. Very clean. Good food, very helpful, courteous hotel staff. The rooms are very spacious and well laid out. I wonder why the hotel is not a 5 star hotel. I recommend this hotel for everyone.

The Southern Sun Hotel is a beautiful hotel with numerous different restaurants. We had great customer service when checking in a little early. They offer free valet parking in their underground parking garage. The morning breakfast buffet has a huge selection of breakfast items from a variety of different ethnicities.
