This is an HONEST review with Kingsgate Hotel, Abu Dhabi. I booked one room with two single beds with breakfast from January 2 until the 15th. To my dismay, they told the people who I booked that they only have one extra large double bed. I mean come on, they're two guys. Do you expect them to share in one bed? So I called the reservation agent to clarify things out. They told me that everything is okay now. But still, no breakfast included. So I asked for the price of breakfast and dinner as well. The woman who I talked to told me that the breakfast cost 40aed per day and dinner cost 60aed per day. Then I told her that I will call her later so that I can clarify everything with my boss. I called them again and another cost of breakfast and dinner per day. The guy that I talked to said that breakfast cost 90aed per day and dinner cost 60aed per day. I told them again that I'll call again later. Then I called again and asked how much is the breakfast and dinner per day. Because you and the other reservations agent have different prices for breakfast and dinner so I need to clarify first before I reserve. She put me on hold. After that she told me that the other reservation agent was correct with the pricing. I really felt that this two employees are very unprofessional. The woman doesn't know what she is doing and was kinda rude to me while talking. And the other reservations agent was very rude to me. My boss called and told me that some people who works in this hotel are very unprofessional. They were very rude because they shouted and scream at him. I really don't know why some of the reviews are nice, but to be honest, it's not. So before you book on this S****y hotel, better read this. Very disappointing

Not a gentle hotel they are chancing price which is already agreed before, room service is disaster they are always forgetting to put towel, mostly not cleaning room toilet, reception can call you in the middle of the night 12 or 01 pm for laundry payment, my rooms are smells humidity, windows are screwed you can not open to take some fresh air Im strongly not recomend it you can findout better place to stay cheaper than thid hotel

Mattress was not comfort, if you ask for iron box they don't have enough quantity only 3 set. Breakfast, not to much variety and menu will be same every day. Location is good you can get everything with walking distance.

Small clean hotel in the city centre. Within walking distance to Abu Dhabi mall.
There is only gym in the hotel. No swimming pool. The wifi in the room is good.
The minus side is there is no free parking space for guests. We have to pay the daily parking rate on the public parking.

This is in a good location and is extremely low cost. However, I noticed a faint odor in my room and maintenenced spray an air freshener instead of cleaning the filter and I didn't realize it was the filter in time and I got very sick over the course of 3 days. Air quality is critical, make sure Ducts are cleaned regularly and ALL filters every few months.
Update: I went to the hospital the next day and bronchitis from this weekend, which was directly related to the air quality. Serious hazard.
