I’ve stayed here several times before. This time was the best of all best. Staff were truly i retested in us. Room 627 was picture perfect snd lovely view. Couldn’t be happier with breakfast and dinner there. Commendations to your chefs and servers.

Nice Hotel and Service. Great rooms! Great food - would recommend to also visit one of the 3 restaurants.
Service in the pool area needs to be improved and especially on the beach. Staff made a smug impression sometimes and were asking not enough if somebody wants a drink or similar.
Invoice at the end of the stay was not understandable. If we had questions regarding the single positions it was not possible to have a look at this. But in general a great stay and hotel to relax.

Incredible hotel with exceptional staff who tend to even the smallest need. The views are breathtaking and the rooms are spacious and gorgeous. I hope to visit Abu Dhabi and stay in this hotel again in the future. Thank you for giving us a great experience.

Lovely hotel, we sat down at the terrace outside by the pool. The ambiance was amazing with a classy seating area. Had a variation of drinks which got us chilling for a while. Drinks were pretty good as you would expect from such an establishment. Followed by the buffet indoors which was simply to die for with seafood grill which was a delight . Would certainly recommend.

Great service really made our stay, however we preferred the restaurants and bars in the souk and ritz Carlton as they had a lot more atmosphere.

Also felt when booking a horizon Premier club room a mosque view should be as standard, we were moved to a mosque view which was fantastic but the initial arrival in the bridge view room was very disappointing.

The happy hour at the horizon club could've done with finishing a little later, as a younger couple 530-730 far to early as we're still getting ready to go out.

More staff on breakfast service at the horizon club. Found there to be a lot of empty tables with dirty plates on and people waiting to be served.

All in all a great stay though but a small few easy to fix things could've really made it amazing.

The hotel is beautiful, loved our stay here during our time in Abu Dhabi! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the property and room was beautiful and comfortable. The hotel is situated along the river with beach overlooking the grand Sheikh Zayed mosque which provided excellent views throughout the day but especially during sunset. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai!

Breathtaking suite, great breakfast buffet at Sofra, amazing hotel design overall as well as fabulous service at the pool and throughout the hotel (loved receiving dates and coffee every time we entered the lobby). Only issue is that not every employee knew what we were supposed to receive complimentary due to our suite. For example, we initially got charged for transportation from airport to the hotel (got removed after we noticed it on the bill) and we needed some discussions to receive our complimentary morning tea without charge. Certainly these little issues will not keep us from returning to this amazing hotel though.

I was very impressed with the employees' friendliness. Everyone I encountered was very polite, welcoming and incredibly personable without sacrificing any professionalism which was very refreshing to see in a high end hotel. Most other high end hotels seem to be rather "stuffy and robotic" in their approach to customer care which does not feel genuine. It is apparent that management has created a wonderful work environment at Shangri La. Employees seem eager to help and seem to truly care about their customer's experience while at the hotel.

Excellent hotel. Great service. Great views of the Grand Mosque. The personnel is so kind and always willing to help and to make sure you enjoy yourself. Lots of activities to do at the beach (jet sky, kayak, etc). Furthermore they have their own little boat for their own little river (awesome!).

The only "BUT" is that it is far away from the city centre, but that is ok if you want you want to get lost and want some privacy.

One of the best hotel here in Abu Dhabi with a very quiet and relaxing place. Also you can enjoy the view of the beautiful Zayed mosque opposite to it. They have a very good restaurant with a very nice buffet which contain a lot of variety. As they have a different type of food for sure you will find what do you like there.

This hotel is simply amazing. Spent here some hours during a dinner at the Vietnamese restaurant. The staff was very well prepared and the location is nice. If the rooms are as good as the public areas I would definitively spend some nights here!

Amazing hotel, beautiful views and amenities including four or five great restaurants. It is annoying to have all prices shown without the various taxes, surcharges and service added on top so keep in mind th already expensive prices will be 20% higher when all said and done. Would not be the recommend paying for or the "special upgrade" to the horizon club access that provides "free" beer, wine and basic spirits, it is a boring no atmosphere room that we used one time for 30 minutes and went down to the pool bar instead and paid for drinks. For the most part service was very good but consistently found food and beverage service very slow and often found after waiting for a long time having to wave someone down or follow up. Drinks also took an inordinate amount of time to come out, even a simple beer would take 15 minutes in a quiet period. Everything else was 5 star!

Amazing hotel to stay service is exceptional especially restaurant staff. All the staff are very attentive inc. The lifeguards on the private beach with views of the grand mosque so much to do.it has its own souk and a mini boat to transport you. Worth a visit and stay for the full Shangri La experience..

Fantastic hotel, great facilities and above all else the staff throughout the hotel are highly professional, helpful, welcoming and offer a 100% genuine warm greeting whatever you do.

Wherever you are in the hotel the staff to guest ratio is perfect hence the great and attentive service.

We stayed in a Horizon Club room with lounge access, this was perfect and included a great breakfast with lovely egg menu as well as a good choice of other breakfast foods. The club lounge also served evening canapés and free drinks for 2 hours.

The pool area was superb with an infinity pool with a view of the Grand Mosque. The pool attendants where first class, laying towels on beds on arrival, every guest is given unlimited bottled water in a small cool box, regular cold flannels and sun glass cleaning, all nice little touches that make this a nice place to stay.

Plenty of food choice in the hotel as well as in the Souk attached to the hotel, catering for all tastes and budgets.

All round a great place to stay, we will definitely be returning.

The best buffet on Friday and Saturday. the Coffee shop and the bar are prepared to service you with a variety of beverages as well as Coffee and you can smoke a Cuban Cigars. The scenary overlooking the the Gulf is spectacular. Good place to visit.

Beautiful Shanri-La.Much much better than the one in Dubai.The staff and the service were amazing..The food was amazingSeafood night was delishwith king prawns,lobsters and steaks cooked to your liking in front of you.And if something was not quite right Mr Amin-was the man (the great manager)who will try to sort it out for you.The horizon club was a nice touch ..with small bites and refreshments to prepare you for the lavish and abandon Arabic cuisine dinners.Highly recommend you to stay there despite the 40 degrees at this time of the year.

Hotel is opulent, food is amazing. Beach has a view of the Grand Mosque and the hotel is situated next to Souk al Beri where there is a small grocery store, loads of restaurants, and a boat that for a few aed will take you down the canal. The afternoon tea is huge! And the Friday brunch is one of Abu Dhabi's best.
