After having to leave our hotel due to uncleanliness, my friend and I went to check out Jood Palace. We had friends staying there and were planning to purchase a room. We spoke with the receptionist about pricing and asked for ice. She assumed that we were prostitutes. The manager was rude to us and our friends - who were already staying at the hotel. He did not want to apologize. He used the excuse that he was misinformed and refused to take blame for taking action on unverified information. When they did apologize, it was with sarcasm. Needless to stay, we did not stay there and our friends checked out.

Considering the price, the space, the cleanness, and the location, there doesn't seem to be anything serious to complain about. However, I'd really hesitate whether staying here again in the future. I think it's quality matches how much I paid: about 3 to 4 star grade.

Brilliant hotel. Probably one of the best I’ve visited and stayed in Dubai. Would certainly recommend this hotel. Staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Fantastic!!!

Although I was treated with great respect and courtesy, the room service was just so disappointing that I can't help but drop down the rating. Not only were the prices overboard, but the food was just completely bland.

Visited just recently from N.Y. room is nice,receptionist excellent, nice location. DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE GO INTO UR ROOM FOR CLEAN-UP WHILE YOU'RE AWAY. RATHER KEEP ALL VALUABLES WITH YOU WHEN LEAVING. BE WISE AND DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM STREET TOUTS FROM SURROUNDINGS

It's a good place compared to it's price. However, I didn't like the maid place they offer, it was very small! The sheets and bath room wasn't that clean!!! I mean she's a human after all,so bettet fix the maid place. The place was not expensive, so I wasn't expecting fancy stuff. But overall nice experience.

Avoid booking early at Jood Palace Hotel during busy season as they might canceled your booking to sell it at a higher rate as they did it to me yesterday!
They tried to charge my credit card and for some reason it didn’t work so I called them to confirm that I am coming before the check-in time, and they told me that they have canceled my booking.
They didn’t even bother to call me or send me a message.

My very first trip outdoors and it was amazing. This place is simply amazing with great ambiance and services provided by the hotel loved it. The food was not that good. But the hotel had great facilities in it. + The location was also soo good that it had door to door shops. Just a step away from the hotel you can find almost anything with easy cabs, normal shopping store and different facilities. The place might be lil over priced , but all money spent will give you 100% satisfaction.

I didn't really stay here. I just go to use their ATM but I find the staff helpful when I had an issue with the machine. I use the toilets sometimes. I'll probably stay here someday. 😊

Food is amazing, every Tuesday seafood buffet just for 69 or 99 dhs depends about the package you want, every Wednesday bbq night, all kind of meats for 130 dhs, and every friday brunch for 80 dhs, which is 5 different restaurant combined together.
The only think is no alcohol, but soft drinks are unlimited.response / report this review -

They got some rules which they don't tell you unless you stay there. Staff in that five star hotel were not as professional as a five start staff should be. I would not recommend this Hotel!

The service at Jood Palace is excellent, all the staff we encountered were friendly and courteous and cannot do enough to help. The rooms are large and well equipped and the breakfast buffet very good, many Arabic and Indian options offered. The hotel is a short walk from Al Rigga metro station for easy access to city attractions. We were very happy with our stay here.
