They are literally the WORST embassy I have to dealt with and I do a lot of PRO jobs for my work.
The guy at the entrance is SO rude, he won’t let you ask an extra question, speaks to you like you’re dumb.
I don’t think I have to mention that they are not answering phone nor emails since it was mentioned by EVERYONE up there.

For an Embassy with just 3 staff that caters to thousands of people, they do pretty OK. A lot of improvements since the last few years. Those complaining just don't plan ahead.
The CC and passport renewal is just an appointment away, you can book an appointment online.
If you need urgent information, then it's better to drive down to the place and ask for all the information in person. If you do need to call then you can 'try' between 12-2pm.
For Visas, they have outsourced it to VFS global. This is good for those waiting to visit Portugal as the process is better.

Never have I ever spoken to to anyone so rude and I helpful.
This Portuguese lady, the only one answering phones unfortunately, refused to help me refused to let me speak to someone else and hung up the phone in my face numerous times when all I wanted was information. She said I was out of limites for asking her where I could get a document that they should give me if they refused to give me.
Plain rude and disrespectful with no regard for other people.

This embassy is an embarrassment. No one answers the phone (ever, have tried for a week), I went there in person to find out with very specific questions about documents needed for marriage - wasn't seen, told to "bring what I can get" and then they'll think about it. Checked the phone number - 02 650 5541 is correct, they are just "busy".

Clearly very under staffed. Phone never answered and when it is you hang on forever and then just switches off. I have witnessed when there how the receptionist just switches the phone off or just ignores it when ringing as she has piles of work in front of her. Not pleasant at all. No replies via emails. Applied for renewal of my ID card in November and still no news and passport ready to expire which cannot be applied for until ID card is received. More than disappointed with service but don't think any thing will change or any reviews are even read.

A few hours later and after sending an email as per their website well guess what. get normal reply with standard info and my email is marked SPAM and not to reply back. IS THIS WHAT U CALL SERVICE 😡😡😡

the worst EU embassy in UAE they never answer emails nor answer calls.tried to get a simple certificate for our house hold items sent to lisbon and been tryin for 3 weeks .staff rude and to be honest the worst embassy I have to deal with.This embassy should be reported to international authorities of some sort

Very bad service compared to other European Embassies inUAE. The lady on the counter makes you feel as if she if doing you a great personal favor by accepting documents or answering queries. The receptionist behaves as if he is the Ambassador of Portugal

Applied for passport appointment this month they gave me an appointment in August ! .Very irritated with the service .Don't understand how can this be a portuguese embassy They also need more staff , this limited manpower looks like the cause of delay .
Cause now everything is done electronically . The embassy must also understand the situation of it's citizens living in Dubai . It is not easy to travel again and again .

Very bad service. No one answers the phone and the receptionist is very rude.
You will never get an appointment if you go in person.
They definitely need more manpower in that embassy since everything seems to take a very long time..

Worst service.
Sent an email on 11th April to take an appointment for BI renewal followed by 2 reminders on 17th and 26th April. Today is 25th May. I have no reply as yet. I have tried calling several times but the phone goes unanswered. Have visited them thrice during this period but the only answer I got was We will call you. When? Soon. Refused to give me an appointment in person. Both times the receptionist just noted down my email id n name and still no response. Wonder what this embassy is up to. I am unsure what to do next. I hope the authorities in Portugal are reading this.
Also never go there in the afternoons. They wont let you in. Afternoon is only for passport collection it seems.

Very bad service. As a portuguese i am a little embarassed by the services provided.If you go there maybe you have lucky and can have your problem solved, but the contacts are very bad and poor. Try to call several times no answer, sent emails, nothing back. My colleague apply to visa tourist to go to my wedding 3 weeks before. After 3 months i did not get any kind of answer or feedback. At least let us know the status, dont say "under process" every time. My colleagues are saying next time will go through other country to get to Portugal.
